Good breakfast kept us going for most of the day. Nice and hot.

above our room was the kitchen so from 7am we were woken up by loud footsteps.

Location, everything within walking distance so car stayed parked throughout our stay.

Wi-fi in the room - intermittent at best, usually no connection. Very warm in the dining room but then again it is August. Perhaps fans would help?

    good staff, good breakfast.

Pillows smelt as if they hadn't been washed for weeks, toilet roll holder loose, mould in shower, very small portable TV with poor reception and had to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to our room.

The Georgian Lodge is a few minutes walk from the train stations and shopping areas. The staff were pleasant, the breakfast filling and varied. The place spotless. All in all I enjoyed my stay.

As my stay occurred during the period when temperatures were unusually high there was no air-conditioning. A fan should have been provided for the bedroom. I did not think to mention this, but the staff did not ask if everything was okay with my room. Before leaving I asked a couple of staff members if it was okay to leave my cases for a few hours until I was ready to catch my train, they replied it was perfectly fine. When I asked another staff member where I could leave my bags, it seemed to be a problem. But then said it was okay.

The room was clean and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel is a short walk from the station and to the points of interest.

I couldn't open the lock box to get my door key. However, there was someone there within minutes.

    cracking breakfast though..!!

the stay was only for 1 night, and we got there early and we were put in the top floor room, which was fine, but we could not access wi-fi the whole time we were there and when we tried to find someone to correct this unfortunately no-one was around.

I stayed in "the flat", a spacious room with its own fridge, sofa, table and chairs, as well as en suite bathroom and double bed. It felt more like self-catering accommodation than a B&B and was cosy and comfortable.

The location.Clean servicable rooms.Helpful staff.Allocated parking.I would recommend as reasonably priced (for graduation week) B&B accommodation for 1/2 days.

Lodge WiFi did not connect on top floor or in below stairs flat, very frustrating for our teenage children. We were told at time of booking that the family room was on the top floor but underestimated the continual trek up the stairs (49).Very small TV in room(12inch screen not flat) As a frequent traveller the wardrobe was the smallest I have ever encountered,ok for one person.Every tiny bit of space at the property was untilsed, reception is located in the breakfast room.It seems no permanent staff are on site as lodge is run along with 3 other similar B&Bs in the area and staff seemed to juggle between these.

Good standard, clean,no frills accommodation. Close to city centre but not noisy at night.

Small washbasin in en suite bathroom, breakfast good but would have preferred help yourself for juices, cereals etc. Wifi intermittent and parking could be difficult. Better to travel by public transport!
