Georgian House Hotel  

A very friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was in the Bower House and was beautifully clean and it was a quiet location. We didnt eat in the hotel but I have full confidence that it the food matched everything else then it would have been great. Very handy for Victoria Station and easy to get to Heathrow upon departure. You can pretty much walk to most places of interest including Buckingham Palace and the London Eye. We would definately stay again.

clean an comfortable little hotel. (we particularly liked the recently renovated room B10) Very friendly people working there - always keen to please and accommodate the customers. Rich breakfast - both continental and English All in all certainly a place to go back to at any time.

We had a group of 4 adults visiting London for the first time. The hotel is only a 5 min walk to Victoria Station. The hotel staff is very friendly and very helpful. We stayed in the apartment suite. The place was very clean and tidy and spacious enough for a London apartment. The bathroom was a tight fit but very clean. Otherwise, the hotel is very clean

The biggest disadvantage is that it's located on the fourth floor...and no elevators! So dragging a few suitcases up four flights of stairs was a chore.

Location is excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Having to share a bathroom was a disadvantage. Also we were up on top floor - up 12 flights of stairs, -on 6th floor, difficult for some people to move luggage up that far - no lift.

The hotel came out to be a real dissapointment. I paid for the most expensive type of room and it was less than average for its price. The problem with the stairs should be mentioned when booking. One day our room was not made and there was no explanation. Breakfast is good , terribly crowded, though.

I should say that the only thing in favor, is the location

I liked the architecture and charm of the old buildings being preserved! History is important and beauty.

I wished the online reservation site allowed for requesting a room on a lower floor. My travel companion found it hard to climb to the 4th floor.

The hotel is located in a very beautiful area and it is very close to Victoria station and a lot of good restaurants.

Brought my family to watch me run the marathon for two nights.

The room was for 6 people sharing and the picture of the accomodation was very misleading, and was not what we expected at all, 6 adults sharing was impossible, it was small and dark and in need of decorating, on a slant and dingy and should have been sold as a family room. Refund due I think!!

Friendly and efficient staff, cleanliness of the room and quiet location yet near to Underground and rail stations.

We were situated on the top floor with renovations going on, not telling us beforehand caused a lot of inconvienience; I have asthma so I could not stay in the room full of dust. They could not accommodate us for the 2nd night booked because the hotel was full, the staff was very refusive to do anything. The next day we had to wait in the lobby for 2 hours for them to get the second room settled (after a looong discussion of me having booked for 2 nights and they cannot kick us out having no place to go.) After long settlements and both parties being fairly unhappy we got another room which was very nice infact, and clean. The staffs behavior was very disappointing, as it was a matter of a health issue, a very serious one.
