“So much - the overall atmosphere is wonderful, the staff is really helpful and friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable and had everything I looked for. Compact yet complete in an excellent location. Very comfy bed, warm soft comforter, good quality bath products, super clean room & bath, excellent in-room tea and more. I really enjoyed my stay - it felt like a home away from home!”

A very friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was in the Bower House and was beautifully clean and it was a quiet location. We didnt eat in the hotel but I have full confidence that it the food matched everything else then it would have been great. Very handy for Victoria Station and easy to get to Heathrow upon departure. You can pretty much walk to most places of interest including Buckingham Palace and the London Eye. We would definately stay again.

Helpful staff, clean rooms The ensuite was so tiny when you used the toilet your knees touched the sink. The wardrobe was too small to shut the door when you hung your coat. The hotel did not advise that the 3rd floor room meant encountering steep stairs and I have a knee problem which made it difficult for me without a lift.

The hotel was everything I expected for what I payed. The staff was more friendly and helpful than what I expected so it made my vacation so much more pleasant. The location was very convenient and easy to navigate to different places in London. I would definitely stay there again.

Room was very good value and clean and well equipped. I went for the continental breakfast instead of going out because I wanted to stay around and use their free wifi for a few hours. The continental included a choice of eggs. I had scrambled which were great. Very happy. No lift and room was 81 or 82 steps up - I counted twice with different results - so be difficult for some travellers, but there was a friendly porter who was happy to bring an iron and ironing board to my room.

My family was in the apartment that was not in the main building. Very nice and comfortable for four people. There is everything necessary for feeding, washing and ironing. Independent and is located 5 minutes from Victoria. We thank the staff for a wonderful time. Only two recommendations: Put curtains on the kitchen and two chairs at the table. Thanks

Good location and large room for executive suite. Hotel room and bathroom was full of mold and water stains. Paint was peeling off the walls in several locations. I don't think the room would pass a us health inspection.

Great location, staff helpful I booked a room with a shared bathroom and was prepared for this, however I wasn't prepared for it to be up 3 flights of steep stairs with poor water pressure in the shower when I eventually got there! (There was a toilet one floor down)

The location is excellent. The beds were very comfy - including the sofa beds. The breakfast is good - even the continental breakfast. There was no wifi in Bower House while we were there. They compensated with free breakfast, but in fact we would not have booked a hotel with no wifi -- it was very inconvenient.

This is not 4star hotel. No elevator, no porter, no taxi calling, noisy, very old towels. If your room on 4th floor, you will carry luggy upstairs yourself.

It was good value for money, spacious rooms which were clean. Only negative thing was the toilet - it was too small!!!! People can get stuck between sink and WC if they were over weight!

We had a group of 4 adults visiting London for the first time. The hotel is only a 5 min walk to Victoria Station. The hotel staff is very friendly and very helpful. We stayed in the apartment suite. The place was very clean and tidy and spacious enough for a London apartment. The bathroom was a tight fit but very clean. Otherwise, the hotel is very clean The biggest disadvantage is that it's located on the fourth floor...and no elevators! So dragging a few suitcases up four flights of stairs was a chore.

The location, very close to victoria A 4 star hotel should not be allowed to have rooms with no bathroom. My fault I did not check on the reservation, however how can you suppose you are being rented a 4th floor no elevator no bathroom room when the hotel is presented a 4 star? There are many other hotels there with a lower price and the same location.

Good location, just a short walk to Victoria bus and coach station but in a quiet residential area, perfect. Great staff, very friendly and helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble. Excellent breakfast and room rate, would definately stay again. Room a little on the small side and bathroom a bit tired. However, housekeeping excellent and room well looked after daily.

We stayed in the one bedroom apartment with two small children. The apartment was very well appointed, clean and tidy and very quiet. It was a short walk from the hotel and on the fourth floor with no lift however the staff were exceptionally helpful with luggage to and from the hotel which was especially appreciated as my husband had a broken collar bone. Internet worked great too. We would certainly come and stay again.
