Very friendly staff and efficient booking arrangements.Good sized room with comfortable bed. We have had the same room before and the bathroom is looking a bit tatty now and quite dated. |

The staff on Reception were very friendly and helpful. The ventilation of the room was a major problem. It was impossible to open the window more than a few inches so the room was insufferably hot until I requested a fan. Initially no fan was said to be available but one was produced fairly quickly. |

Advice from the hotel receptionist was extremely helpful. Location was perfect for the Metro Centre. Noise from the Lounge bar on the friday evening was quite loud - our room must have been pretty close. |

I know the area well and it was ideally placed for my needs. It was comfortable and convenient. The reception at the 'back' of the hotel was a bit strange. |

Only stayed one night to attend party, so all was good. Reviews do not reflect hotel. The hotel is very good. There is no lift and parking was ok, but could hav been diff if more cars about. |

Comfortable room and friendly staff. Dog allowed to stay with us in room at no extra charge Lots of stairs with no lift access. Not suitable for disabled or anyone with walking difficulties. |

Relatively easy to find .Good parking facilities.Very pleasant surroundings with lovely friendly staff.Fantastic views of Newcastle from the window. Cant think of anything. |

The helpfulness of the reception staff regarding contacting other people staying at the hotel and dealing with requests quickly. Room was too warm and could not open window because of traffic noise. |

Cheerful and helpful staff - especially reception and breakfast. Incredible value for money - a large room with a great view aross the valley. Would have felt good about it at a higher price. Limited parking but not a problem on the night we stayed. |
