Bed a bit hard and not very big

I liked that it was close to the motorway.

My room was freezing cold and the sheets stained. It says it's non smoking but I could smell the stale stench of it coming under the doorway. I stayed in room 9 on Tuesday night and since then I've been I'll with a head cold due to the cold conditions. I had to sleep fully clothed. Worst night sleep ever and the sausage sandwich in the morning was just mush and a very cheap sausage.

Not enough info about how to get in !I was phoning them for 15 minutes without reply as i arrived at 11 p.m and the door i thought as entrance was locked with no bell!!!

It was raining when i arrived at 7pm at night, the place was locked an i later found out that the door bell didnt work! I took some time to get attention and be let in, meantime i got soaked! The room is very basic though clean, the bed could do with a bedside table / light, but real problem is the wall between the next room is very thin (stud partition?) The occupant of the other room was up early for work, i was woken by the water noise from pipes in the walls and the shower running etc. In the morning the door to the breakfast room was locked at around 815, i had to repeat bang on the door to get attention to be let in ! the only saving grace was the breakfast was nice. Overall this was a very unpleaseant experience, not reccomended.

Good price for location. Nice big room and en-suite good/clean.

Area bit run down. I arrived late ( I had already informed them of this) but no one there to great and took a while to gain access to building.

Good location with pub next door and ample car parking. Ideal for m25 and m4. Thanks for upgrade to room 2.Be prepared to ring the telephone number if you arrive late.

Advertised free wi-fi yet there was no one around to give you a code. No hairdryer in room, again no one available to ask, there was tea and coffeee making facilities but no milk, I could not get breakfast the next morning because the appliances had been switched off as I did not appear at the time I had stated (this was due to circumstances beyond my control) The room was dirty. At best I can say that sheets and towels were clean and it was a bed for the night.

Attention: They double-charged my credit card after the room was paid cash. Afterwards I called them, wrote them mail to clear the situation and they told me they would care for everything. Weeks with no answer, nothing! Now I handled everything to my credit card bank who immediately re-transfered my the money, but still did not hear anything from the hotel. This is one of the most unprofessionial experiences I ever had (and I book about 50 hotels a year)! Sorry, but never again!

The hospitality of the lodge is good. Muslims might have issues to find Halal food around... But stay wise its good with internet included and at good speed.

Nearby restaurants do not serve Halal.

The main plus was convenience for a family wedding nearby. It was comfortable and clean and amazingly quiet given the constant flights overhead. The breakfast was good and lovely and hot with good coffee. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Main downside is that there is no reception and if you arrive in/out of hours you have to ring up and wait for a member of staff to come and let you in; could be a little off-putting for a single woman arriving from Heathrow in the middle of the night! The carpet in one of the rooms was a bit threadbare.

Cosy and clean room with easy access also for wheelchair.

Main building and surroundings looked like Bagdad Café in the middle of a construction site. Reception closed at 6 P.M. - not 11 P.M. as advertised.

it was close to Heathrow, ten minutes drive with taxi, but as it was out of London I had to pay 35 pounds to the hotel and 35 pounds back again to airport. The hotel level is very low and cheap, but total price, 110 pounds, I had to pay is the same if I booked the closest hotel with shuttle. It is very close to highway, the building is very old, you can hear all aircrafts landind and taking off, too noisy. Additionally there was no warm shower water - maybe I was not patiant enough to wait 10 minutes to heat up.

Large comfortable room, and bathroom. Very close to Heathrow. Left early so cant comment on the breakfast who couldn.

Arrived at 9.00 P.M.everything locked up and no one about, except some men with lorries.who couldn't help We phoned up and a lady came out and booked us in, once in it was O.K., but by the A.4. and a bit noisy..

The warmth and hospitality of the hotel service persons.

Very warm & friendly welcome. Booked the family room - very large room - clean and tidy - big flat screen TV, tea making facilities with biscuits, ensuite shower room. Excellent freshly cooked full English breakfast included in the price in cafe downstairs - separate dining area for hotel guests. Pet friendly - we took our dog with us - no problems - no extra charge. More character, friendlier, better breakfast and a bigger room than other equally priced and more expensive hotels convenient for Heathrow airport.

The family room we were in was at the front of the hotel, so looked out onto the road. The double glazing kept down most of the road noise, but not all of it. It was not a problem for us. Nevertheless others sensitive to noise could possibly find it a problem for that particular room. We would choose that room again.

Proximity to Heathrow Airport. Pet friendly. Beds comfortable.

Room very run down, although bathroom was like new! Had to wait at least 20 minutes for the hotel owner to complete our room - apparently there were no pillowcases on the pillows and we were left waiting outside in the cold! Had we known we would be left waiting so long, we would have sat in car!

The staff, especially the manageress, were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a perfect location for Windsor, Heathrow and London. A real bonus is that dogs are welcome.

It was a bit disconcerting to have a reception are open at weekends.
