This beautifully decorated and furnished b&b is made better by a hearty breakfast, good company and the best hostess I have ever met. It takes 15 minutes from glasgow central to giffnock and 3-5 minutes walk from the station to the b&B.

    None... Everything was perfect!!!

Jacqueline is a fabulous host, the house is beautiful, clean, light and airy. Traditional Scottish breakfast is served everyday, which is delicious.

    Shared bathroom only downfall.

The quality of the accommodation, the breakfast, the location and the owner was extremely nice.

I was in a room downstairs so it was very noisy early on as it is near to the kitchen/diner and the voices really did travel as the kitchen door was left open

the owner of this bb is great, our plane was delayed, and she waited until passed midnight, still she was all warm and nice, helped us settled down. and her cooking was excellent, breakfast was brilliant with traditional Scottish style.

the shared bathroom was huge, would be better if it can be turned into 2-3 smaller bathrooms instead. so, more guests can use them the same morning rush hours.

Beautiful home and lovely down to earth owners. Homely and relaxed in immaculate conditions. So clean! Gorgeous bathroom! 2 seconds away from Wholefoods market which made my weekend as I eat very healthy and this can be difficult when staying away. Perfect:)

Would have loved herbal teas instead of tea & coffee which I don't drink.

The owners are super friendly and made us feel very much at home. Neighbourhood is fantastic with several restaurants nearby, ATM across the street and walking distance to the train station. Would highly recommend to stay here for anyone new to the area.

Very generous sized room. Modern decor and furniture. Excellent breakfasts. Very helpful and friendly staff - very welcoming and accommodating. Very close to local railway station and on a main bus route. Good mix of places to eat nearby.

The host was very friendly and helpful, really easy to talk to. The location was excellent for us, who don't like a big city center, but still there were excellent bus connections to center of Glasgow. Breakfast was good and the host was able to modify the breakfast according to our wishes.

There was some dust and hairs on the table and in the bed in our room. I would have loved some tissue paper in the bathroom, so that people don't need to carry a hand towel with them. Also, it was very awkward to share a breakfast table with complete strangers.

this is a brilliant B and B. In my time I have been fortunate to enjoy a wide variety of holiday experiences. I can't remember having ever stayed at a better establishment of this kind. Had I room in the car the bath and the piano would have come home with me. The breakfast was superb and most of all Jacqueline and Ron were wonderfully hospitable. Giffnock village has great facilities and is only 15 mins from Glasgow central

    nothing!!!

Up market B&B Female owner is a terrific hostess and goes out of her way to be helpful and friendly. Renovated house which is tastefully redecorated and bright. Rooms like wise. Location is brilliant-15 mins. by train to centre of Glasgow and easy road access to M74.

Shared bathroom which is very spacious with excellent shower and bath.No problem for me personally. £40 is top end of my cost scale but arguably justifiable.

From the receipt of a text to welcome me just after booking, to the moment I drove away on the final morning we were made to feel at home, like old friends, and that nothing was too much trouble. The beds in the family room at the rear of the property are very comfortable and the room is adjacent to the shared bathroom. The bathroom boasts a huge bath and lovely shower, both of which we tested several times each! Breakfast was cooked to order, and there was plenty to choose from. To be honest, I think Jackie would have prepared us almost anything we could have wanted if we had prearranged it with her! This place is a gem, and that is due in the main to the exceptional welcoming and friendly nature of the owners. We will be back!

I talked to Jackie about putting curtains up to help keep the rooms dark in the mornings. It would not stop me returning though, but good to be aware of.

Great bright family room, we stayed before flying off on our holidays and was really handy for the airport, great hospitality from lovley owners and a really nice non greasy breakfast. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a night in Glasgow or a holiday in a lovley setting. :-)

    Having to leave!!
