Great place to stay with friendly owners. I was well looked after and had great conversations. Would recommend to anyone.
our stay was a complete pleasure from start to finish. Jacqueline and her husband were so kind and welcoming, the house is outstandingly decorated and tidy. we had a massive flat screen tv in the room, and the breakfast was cooked to order around the grand kitchen dining table and the stand alone bath in the huge bathroom is to die for ! Will deffo be returning next time we are in Glasgow.
We chose Giffnock B & B as it was a short walk from our venue for an Anniversary Party. Although our stay was only for one night we were extremely happy with the friendly welcome we received from Jackie. The room was spacious and very comfortable with everything we needed. The bathroom was fabulous and the other rooms we used were tastefully laid out. Nothing was too much trouble and Jackie went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. It proved to be the perfect stopover for our brief visit and was great value for money. We would definitely book up again and recommend this new business for anyone visiting the area.
There was nothing we could fault.
You could not wish to meet nicer people, even the other guests were nice, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Beautiful decor, very lovely owners, everything given highest attention to detail.
Jackie couldn't do enough for us. Friendly clean and decor was fab.
Warm welcome, very comfortable room, attractive surroundings and great breakfast. Very convenient for city centre and easy to find.
I found this B&B while searching accommodation for the Commonwealth Games and it appeared as a new business without any reviews and I am so glad I went ahead and made the booking. This renovated house, the huge bathroom is to die for, is beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished and is located in the perfect spot for everything you could wish for ie, shops, restaurants etc.Transport links into Glasgow couldn't be better with train station a 5 min walk and bus stop across the road.Jacqueline and Ron are fantastic hosts and couldn't do enough to make Giffnock B&B feel like a home from home, it felt just like visiting family. At the time I visited it was almost tropical weather and on more than one occasion I was invited to join them in the garden.Even on the last day of my visit nothing was too much, although check out time was in the morning I still had a final event to see at the Games and they very kindly allowed me to leave my car at the B&B for the rest of the day. Wish I could have stayed here for my other visits to the Games, alas it was booked solid. I would be more than happy to recommend Giffnock B&B, its a treasure with the big city on its doorstep. What more could you want!
No complaints whatsoever.
Beautiful b&b plus decor, rooms large, helpful and friendly staff, very clean, breakfast lovely freshly made to your preference. Only one dislike we couldn't stay longer, but will be back!.
Wish we could have stayed longer!
Everything! You will go a long way to find such a wonderful B&B and such perfect hosts.
Honestly I can't think of anything!
This beautifully decorated and furnished b&b is made better by a hearty breakfast, good company and the best hostess I have ever met. It takes 15 minutes from glasgow central to giffnock and 3-5 minutes walk from the station to the b&B.
None... Everything was perfect!!!
Jacqueline is a fabulous host, the house is beautiful, clean, light and airy. Traditional Scottish breakfast is served everyday, which is delicious.
Shared bathroom only downfall.
Beautiful house, very clean and very well decorated. Lovely breakfast serves up in the morning. Highly recommend to stay here
A warm welcome, a great breakfast, and a huge bath!
Lovely friendly hosts
The quality of the accommodation, the breakfast, the location and the owner was extremely nice.
I was in a room downstairs so it was very noisy early on as it is near to the kitchen/diner and the voices really did travel as the kitchen door was left open
the owner of this bb is great, our plane was delayed, and she waited until passed midnight, still she was all warm and nice, helped us settled down. and her cooking was excellent, breakfast was brilliant with traditional Scottish style.
the shared bathroom was huge, would be better if it can be turned into 2-3 smaller bathrooms instead. so, more guests can use them the same morning rush hours.
Great people and facilities. Beautiful house.
Bright rooms make it hard to put kids to sleep in the summer.
Beautiful home and lovely down to earth owners. Homely and relaxed in immaculate conditions. So clean! Gorgeous bathroom! 2 seconds away from Wholefoods market which made my weekend as I eat very healthy and this can be difficult when staying away. Perfect:)
Would have loved herbal teas instead of tea & coffee which I don't drink.
Hosts, accommodations,and location were excellent!
The owners are super friendly and made us feel very much at home. Neighbourhood is fantastic with several restaurants nearby, ATM across the street and walking distance to the train station. Would highly recommend to stay here for anyone new to the area.
Very generous sized room. Modern decor and furniture. Excellent breakfasts. Very helpful and friendly staff - very welcoming and accommodating. Very close to local railway station and on a main bus route. Good mix of places to eat nearby.
The host was very friendly and helpful, really easy to talk to. The location was excellent for us, who don't like a big city center, but still there were excellent bus connections to center of Glasgow. Breakfast was good and the host was able to modify the breakfast according to our wishes.
There was some dust and hairs on the table and in the bed in our room. I would have loved some tissue paper in the bathroom, so that people don't need to carry a hand towel with them. Also, it was very awkward to share a breakfast table with complete strangers.
Lovely welcome very friendly can do anything for you. We had a great stay
this is a brilliant B and B. In my time I have been fortunate to enjoy a wide variety of holiday experiences. I can't remember having ever stayed at a better establishment of this kind. Had I room in the car the bath and the piano would have come home with me. The breakfast was superb and most of all Jacqueline and Ron were wonderfully hospitable. Giffnock village has great facilities and is only 15 mins from Glasgow central
