Central location. Large room.
Comfy bed although a bit bouncy! Good sized room Tea and coffee facilities, although prefer fresh milk Value for money Great location Quiet Friendly staff (got there quite late but very understanding)
Food in restaurant wasn't great for that price Shower a little small
Shower screen didn't lock in and kept moving towards you as you were showering. However, I raised this with staff and they made a note to fix it.
the rooms are a genres size and the heat was good in the room there was plenty of storage space
the rooms need to be done up they are looking like they need a lick of paint. the cost was a little on the step side for the room and food seamed slightly dearer than other places near buy
The food was good quality and the hotel had a very comfortable feel to it
The heating was switched off in the night, it ended up being a very cold night for us. When we used one of the sink taps, the water that came out was brown.
Great bar ,good beer , very nice room , friendly staff.
Breakfast could have been a bit more generous for the money
The location is excellent and the breakfast was good
Noisy crowded bar; shabby, uncomfortable breakfast room; unattractive, shabby lobby plus the receptionist had a stud in her tongue which made her speech difficult to understand. There was no warm welcome either and our room was in the attic. Very bad value for money.
Dated decor, expensive in bar, overpriced £80.00 with out breakfast.
went to our room and realised I was too poorly to stay -flu. Told the nice lady on reception we had to check out and she said they had to take the £20.00 deposit and would make a note of it in their book so we could stay again when I was feeling better. we fully expected to pay the full amount for the room £80.00. We will go back in the new year.
FRIENDLY, HOMELY, BASIC
A BIT DATED AND TIRED
Friendly staff, good service, good room, excellent breakfast.
Room rather cold as radiator turned off on arrival. I turned it on myself only to find it turned off again when we returned in the evening.
Central location Onsite parking Nice litle bar area
Delighted with our stay at the hotel, superb location
We stayed at the Glan Aber hotel last Autumn and decided to return again this year as it was so lovely and we knew a fabulous weekend was guaranteed. We only stayed room only but did enjoy an evening meal and the food was delicious and excellent value for money. We are already thinking about our stay for next year!! Thankyou for another lovely weekend
I cant possibly think of a dislike but for feedback purposes although the wifi is free, the signal strength is not great in the bedrooms.
Very little. Breakfast was quite nice.
Room was awful. Mould over the windows, freezing cold, big hole in the bathroom door where the lock once was. Beds very uncomfortable with springs really obvious. Not very clean. TV so tiny could barely see it. Not a pleasant experience.
It was just ok
The hotel is a bit tired
There was no bath or chair to sit at dressing table.
I liked its location, the parking, cleanliness and the polite staff.
I thought breakfast should have been included in the rate......otherwise very good.
Friendly staff. Good location in village centre
Very uncomfortable beds but owners have promised to address this immediately
Some staff really pleasant.. Really liked the location
Locals not too friendly bit of an unfriendly atmosphere in the bar being English in Wales
Excellent breakfast and staff.
Far too expensive for a normal double room. For some reason of you stay in the very cheep bunkhouse breakfast is included but if you pay through the nose for a double room then you have to pay extra for breakfast?! How does that make sense?
The location Coffee and the room
Noise Tv not working Personnel very cold Not a single smile!!!!!
Room was clean, staff friendly & helpful
Room was very noisy with traffic outside, bathroom still needed up dating (bath panel broken). Dining room still in need of updating & very disappointed that you had to go to the bar to order your meal(no water/waiter service), hence we didn't see anyone asking for any desert, we had the special which was very nice but would have been much nicer if a dish of vegetables were served with it (felt very much like & old peoples home).
