One tiny thing that could be improved: the separate taps over the sink could be mixed, but we respect that it's a British tradition to leave the taps separate, and it wasn't too much of an inconvenience.
The owners were lovely and went out of their way to make our stay special and unforgettable: a lift from the station, delicious cream tea on arrival, plentiful "full English" breakfast by the fireplace with beautiful music, freshly squeezed juice, amazing fruit salad (amongst other treats, like sherry before bed-time!). The whole place was sparkly-clean throughout, with its own heart, soul and a very unique character. Its interior design was stunning with every detail intentionally thought-out and every little thing carefully placed with loving care just where it belongs: sophisticated glassware and tableware, gorgeous china figurines, beautiful antiques and paintings, and much more. The DVD collection in the living room was impressive, and it was great to watch a couple of DVDs after a whole day of hiking. For those people who, like us, do not have a car, there is a bus stop right next to Glanarvon House with regular buses to Bangor, Llandudno and Conwy - very convenient. The train station is about 15 minute walk. We felt very welcome and well looked-after from the minute we made our booking to the minute we said good-bye. Glanarvon House a real gem and is highly recommended!
A lack of a front door key to come and go created some difficulties if you like a degree of independence and anonymity.
Very clean rooms witrh nice attention to details (mints on the pillow ect). Very comfy beds.
Nothing of any note
The people who run it are perfectionists. I feel I was waited on all the time, things that you usually have to ask to be done were done without asking. The museum - the décor everywhere was intriguing, so much so I asked permission to take photos. It looks as if it has been furnished by an interior designer with an eye for antiques. The view from my room - looking out over the sea was worth mentioning as well. I was made to feel very welcome and the accommodation was run around the guests so nothing was too much trouble. I will go back just to stay there again.
The bara brith was the best I've ever tasted! Beautiful home made scone jam and cream lovely!
location, hosts, breakfast, cream tea!
My partner and I spent two nights at Glanarvon House and loved it. We had good intentions to get up early and hike in Snowdonia but after arriving at Glanarvon House we decided to just have a relaxing, romantic weekend away and this B&B was perfect for that. Gorgeous gardens, fabulous hosts and a beautiful home with only 3 guest rooms. Bryan and Keith were so welcoming and really know customer service. Other guests that weekend included a well-travelled couple in their 80s who said they had never been so well looked after. Thanks again B&K... we'll be back, next time perhaps to do some actual hiking!
ease of booking complimentary tea and home-made scones on arrival genuine welcome & nothing too much trouble for k&b beautiful garden lovely room and also a guest lounge for relaxing great breakfast good local knowledge overall 10/10
Location (close to zip world and Snowdonia and fantastic beaches), views, breakfast. Brian and Keith our hosts who went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed and more. Cream tea on arrival...brilliant.
Having to leave!
Cream tea in the summer house. Great service. You really should try this place, you won't be disappointed!
Cream tea on arrival says everything about the desire to please. A most enjoyable stay.

the hospitality of Bryan and Keith. cream tea on arrival and super breakfasts. Comfort and cleanliness. The best B&B ever stayed in.
Really enjoyable stay at Glanarvon House. Fascinating house and lovely garden. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, with care taken over every detail. Delicious cream tea on arrival. Extensive DVD collection available too. Glanarvon House is well located between Conwy and Anglesey.
Glenarvon House is a fabulous place to stay. Bryan and Keith's renovation has created a beautiful house and garden and they are fantastic hosts. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed with plenty of little extra touches.
very clean, friendly, welcoming with cream tea and cake on arrival, lounge to relax as well as bedroom en suite. Home made bread, china tea cups, cut glass, beautiful yet eccentric decor - wonderful.
There's nothing not to like.
Excellent hosts. Excellent food. Everything was excellent. Would recommend to anyone.
Our stay was too short!
Keith and Bryan were such excellent hosts. They attended to every need with such proficiency, nothing was too much trouble. The homemade cream tea and the excellent breakfast were both amazing. We can highly recommend Glanarvon House.
Keith and Brian are wonderful hosts with exquisite taste and attention to detail. A very enjoyable 3 nights.
Nothing - apart from having to leave.
Everything - fabulous room, great breakfast and cream tea on arrival. The owners really go out of their way to make you feel welcome too.
The house and gardens were beautiful and Keith and Brian were superb hosts. Breakfast was excellent and the cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch and very welcome after a long trip. We will certainly return.
Bryan and Keith are terrific hosts and offer the highest standard of accommodation and service. By appointing beautiful furniture and drapery, they have transformed Glanarvon House into a stunning and gracious home with a lovely garden below. An added bonus is their superb and extensive knowledge of the many local attractions and suggestions of what to look for when visiting them. I thoroughly enjoyed my six-night stay there.
Our stay was too short :)
The location of the hotel doesn't have enough restaurant. Hard to have dinner.
Comfortable room and facility
Can't think of anything
Everything. The rooms were beautifully furnished, the welcoming cream tea and all the breakfasts delicious. It was a lovely touch to offer a complimentary sherry and the atmosphere was reminiscent of a more elegant, by-gone age. Absolutely delightful.
