In Raglan Village, this 16th-century inn is close to the medieval castle, between Usk and the Wye Valley, well placed for the A40. It offers AA-Rosette dining, good wines, real ales and free internet....

The room and the gardens were fantastic. Staff lovely to talk too as well
Would have been nice to have had more information about the local area and where to walk locally rather than having to go further afield
Suite pleaasnt and elegant
No hot water on either evening. Already used up before I went to bed.Did not complain the second morning as occuipied with bill payment and forgot.
Location, property, grounds, setting, bed room, the meet and greet on arrival (Saturday afternoon), convenient for both Abergavenny and Crickhowell
The en-suite to the room, I would have preferred a shower. The breakfast seemed disorganised from a point of where you should sit and also felt like we had been crammed into the room leaving us feeling uncomfortable throughout. Both these comments would not stop me staying again or recommending to others.
Master Room Comfortable bed
Pay in full at time of booking Jet shower not working & shower head would not stay put Tried to charge us on checking out even though policy is to pay in full at time of booking

Cold shower in the morning.
Quietude, Courtesy, Comfort, Cleanliness, High Standards.
Lack of disabled facilities.
Comfortable honest bar and lounge, sizeable bath, quiet location.
Breakfast not great, food or drink not permitted in bedrooms due to antique furnishings.
Location and ground are stunning

Lovely setting in beautiful countryside. Great shower, hot and cleansing.
Being given a room right at the top of the house and having to carry heavy suitcases up too many stairs.
Despite being busy they were able to let us into the room early to get ready for a wedding. Very comfortable bed, delicious breakfast and friendly, attentive staff.
Lovely country house. Beautiful decor.
Expected fresh fruit like melon/strawberries etc given the time of year instead it was thawed summer fruits and canned grapefruit. Given the b&b rate it was poor value for money.
Beautiful room, with lovely ensuite. The hotel was in a beautiful setting.
the attention to detail and very high standards,we loved sitting by the open windows and taking in the welsh air.
the clothes and shoes in the wardrobe, who do they belong to?
We loved the house contents and gardens. Wonderful place run by a lovely family
We were a little disappointed we couldn't have an evening meal there but that was our fault for not reading up properly
Old fashioned B&B, very impersonal staff, poor bathroom, shabby.
Elegant and quiet country manor house. Beautifully furnished and lovely grounds. Comfortable and spacious room.
Tricky entrance--just be prepared for sharp turn. Easy to miss.
