Helpfulness on arrival. Breakfast was good. That they recorded where I was walking in case I didn't return on time, and they were very considerate when I returned to collect my car.

Room was a little too warm even though heating was turned off.

Excellent food coupled with a great relaxing atmosphere difficult to find in many hotels we have stayed. Glaramara strikes the exact balance between quality accommodation and the facilities required for those who enjoy the great outdoors. The centre allows for experienced walkers/ outdoorers whilst also providing specialist guides etc for less experienced individuals or famiss or groups. The opportunity to meet and chat with others of a similar disposition was an unexpected bonus

There was nothing we didn't like. It was a great 4 days

We wanted to enjoy a quite night away and could not have asked for a better place, the food and staff were both excellent. We will be returning :)

Everything was excellent especially the service and the interaction between the staff and the guests was excellent.

Only a little bug bear, but if there was sky sports available and a pub style menu as well as the restaurant menu then this would really take Glaramara into the top echelon of hotels in the area

I really could not have been happier as the room was comfortable and clean, the public rooms very pleasant and the food and service first class.

Good Points: 1) Excellent location in terms of views, right in the heart of Lake District 2) Nice new and clean rooms 3) Friendly staff 4) Breakfast is average Overall the experience was good but the value for money wasnt so good as I paid alot for the two nights(equivalent to an average 4-5 star hotel) and didnt get as many amenities.

Bad points: 1) No Tele in the room 2) No toiletries such as shower gel/soaps etc. in the washroom 3) 8 miles from the main town of Keswick (which is probably not a bad point for some) 4) No network coverage 5) Wifi coverage is poor in some rooms 6) Not enough parking if you turn up late
