The guest house is perfect in everything!!! Thank you so much!
had a lovely two nights stay. lovely single room with en suite. fabulous breakfast and an amazingly comfy bed.
We had lovely night here, this is a happy ,humorous family. Newly refurbished room was great. Breakky by Sarah was delish & her sons made us feel at home ,even booking a pub for dinner as we were late getting in. Highly recommend
We arrived to a warm, friendly welcome. The room was spotless, comfy bed and good shower. Breakfast was the best, local produce, excellent sausage and bacon.
Nothing at all.
Very friendly staff, very clean and fantastic location
Every thing, the decor in our room tastefully done, hair dryer hospitality tray iPod docking station/alarm clock, tissues towels a beautifully presented home cooked breakfast, male voice choir cd easing us gently into what proved to be a busy weekend! A delight full evening in the small cosy bar chatting to Berin and Shelagh, ( the owners) felt like we had known them for ever.
Having to check out to come back home, we hope to return again next year.
Friendly welcome, clean and spacious room, superb breakfast, central location
There isn't anything not to like
Comfort Friendlyness Cleanliness Location Facilities Excellent Food Great Value Bar, that was open when required.
Just returned after 3 night stay, Berin, Sarah & the 2 teenage boys are wonderful hosts. On arriving earlier than expected we left our luggage in the house whilst our room was getting prepared & had coffee in nearby recommended coffee house, on return our cases were in our room, the room(number 8) was on top floor & we could see the Great Orme outside. The room was great and bed so so comfy, tv & drink facilities all at hand. The breakfast on all 3 mornings was wonderfully cooked by Sarah & on 2nd breakfast day which was Elaine's birthday she received her breakfast of Bagel, smoked salmon & scrambled egg with candle on top accompanied by Berin's wonderful singing voice & family providing backing voices, wonderful memory for Elaine along with birthday serviette & card with towel dog on bed when we returned at night. They recommended restaurants & pubs to eat in which were all fabulous, this guest house is delightful & we strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful base, Berin's bar in his lounge is great after eating out & having a laugh & chill before bed. We will be recommending to family & friends & will definitely stay here on next trip to Llandudno, thank you Berin, Sarah & Family for wonderful time. Trevor & Elaine.
Nothing I didn't like.
We had the family room on top floor, which had plenty of room for the 3 of us. Breakfast was very good. The beds were comfy and slept very well. We were lucky with the parking, and parked on the roadside, although there is a couple of car parks close by. We would recommend The Palladium (Wetherspoons) to eat, it was very good.
The breakfast on a Sunday could have been at slightly later time. But this is just our preference.

The hosts went out of their way to ensure my stay was great. Communication was excellent prior to arrival.
Friendly welcome and great advice as to where to eat in the evening. My golfing partner and I shared a twin and it was spotless, well presented and good beds. Breakfast also very good. All-round great value for us two. Definitely contact when in need of accommodation in Llandudno.
Parking is ALWAYS a problem in LLandudno and it is pot luck for a space. Nothing Glascoed can do about it.
Due to a hospital appointment/operation, I needed to book accommodation in Llandudno, I used Booking.com to find a suitable place. Thankfully, after trawling through many places on offer I came across Glascoed Guesthouse. I must say, i have never stayed in any form of guest house in the past, normally, i only use hotels. after reading their reviews online I thought id give them a try. I can honestly with hand on heart say that i was not disappointed. From the moment I arrived and greeted at the front door by Sarah until the moment I left I was made to feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts Sarah and Berin and their two sons. Their home (it's far too nice to call it a guesthouse) is spotlessly clean, homely, you are made to feel like a member of family more than a guest. The bedrooms are bright, light, cosy, clean, warm and SPOTLESS. Breakfast each morning was fantastic, adequate and cooked to order with a great choice of fresh local ingredients. (I opted for the full Welsh) after my cereals, toast and fruit juice. The guest bar/lounge is really cosy with bar prices a LOT lower than my local pub back home, this was a really unexpected bonus to my stay, so often you stay in places with highly inflated prices. (so folks, really no need to sneak in a bottle here haha.) I know many people go overboard when writing reviews, but I can honestly say, there was nothing to fault at Glascoed, in future, when I return to Llandudno for whatever reason, I will not be using a booking engine to look for accommodation ........Ive already found it. GLASCOED!!! Thank you for a great stay and I look forward to returning to you in the future.
Location perfect, very close to shops and beachfront. Friendly hosts.
I loved my single room and the brekfast. It is ran by a lovely family. The location was great too, central for everything.
Very comfortable room with tea, coffee, bottled water, cookies and tissues all provided daily. Wonderful friendly and helpful hosts. Incredibly delicious breakfasts & very generous servings. Altogether exceptionally good value for the money!
There was absolutely nothing to dislike!
I feel positively compelled to let the World know about this Llandudno gem. From the moment you arrive the the fond, handshake farewell you feel like a friend. The family who run this establishement clearly recognise the importance of their clients. From the hand-made soap bar in the bedroom (next to the complimentary bottled water - nice touch!) to the carefully created (with clear love) breakfast it really is a delight to stay here. Don't hesitate! You'll love it!
Warm welcome. Friendly and accommodating. Very clean. Well presented. Great breakfast. Great base for exploring LLandudno and North Wales.
It is in a great position. Near to town and promenade. Lovely clean room overlooking street. Everything you need including iron and ironing board. Lovely freshly made breakfast with choice of white or brown toast. Lovely friendly family and hosts. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.
Everything would definitely visit again , very nice stay , very lovely people , had a great time
Nothing , perfect
we were given a warm welcome from sarah and berin .the room was really comfy with everything we could need . the breakfast was the best i have had anywhere.
Lovely family run guest house. Spotlessly clean. Great breakfast and would use again.
This really is a superior guest house from the comfortable well appointed rooms to the generous (also a very tasty lighter option) breakfast. Both Sarah & Berin are very welcoming & friendly hosts and son Tom always polite & cheerful at breakfast. We have stayed in many Llandudno B & B's over the years but Glascoed is simply the best.
Negatives? no bad points at all!!
Sarah and Berin and their family excellent hosts. Amazing breakfasts. Lovely little bar area ideal for a nightcap! Only short walk to Promenade. Definitely hope to visit again.
