Definitely hadn't been cleaned, hairballs everywhere. Apartment in a state of disrepair. Cupboard doors hanging off, blinds broke, toilet in one bathroom wouldn't flush. Skirting coming off in one bathroom. TV broken. List goes on and on. How this can be advertised is beyond me.
Location Size Cleanliness and mostly the service
Location, size of flat , comfy beds, great views
Flat could have been cleaner
Was central, clean, and good place to stay
Nice, modern, well-furnished apartment with very comfortable beds and good wifi. Friendly and welcoming agents who'd taken the trouble to provide tea, coffee and milk ready for our arrival. Only 100 metres or so from a buzzing high street, local market and a large Morrissons superstore.
Outlook from the front window is over an undeveloped site which initially gives the impression that you're in the middle of nowhere, despite being just a few minutes' walk for the centre! Only an initial impression though which soon disappeared once we'd explored a bit more. One other niggle is the additional credit card charge on the balance and damage deposit payments, although the charge on the balance payment was refunded after some correspondence.
Everything, could not fault it and Robert was extremely friendly and helpful
Location to attractions and near to a great choice of bars and restaurants. Comfortable and cosy to come back to after days site seeing. Very helpful and informative owner.
No toaster and no lights by lift when coming home after dark.
check in lady was extremely helpful, location was fantastic and the owner was more than helpful. We didn't meet him, however, he couldn't have done more for us, he left me info re the history of Glasgow, and the city was abuzz with excitement of the Commonwealth Games, some great restaurants nearby, the helpfulness of lady at Reserve re our damages refund
Some initial confusion because booking.com involved, and we did not stay in advertised apartment, i.e. different apt. to photos advertised. the heat was extreme (not complaining), and no doubt unusual for Glasgow at that special time
Spacious Internet Bright Central Very helpful staff Having two keys Nice showers Two bathrooms Big kitchen Sofas
The door is slamming loudly Noise from people talking loudly outside the building from early morning.
Free wifi All the mod cons Really comfortable flat Our own balcony Great views Hazel, the Glasgow rep, was so friendly and welcoming.
They cancelled this booking (as I had'nt paid the deposit) by email, which I didn't read as I was already on holiday. They didn't send a text or phone. When I eventually saw the message, paid the deposit and re-booked, they said it was all going ahead, but when we arrived at the accommodation, it was locked and the booking had been cancelled again because they hadn't had time to clean it. This was not what I was told when I phoned - they said everything was going ahead. The owner of the accomodation told me by phone that Glasgow Apartments had told them the booking "might" be on again.
Apartment not ready on arrival in the evening
Excellent property, will stay there again, first class service, thank you
very clean, comfortable. Would use again
Fridge did not work, washing machine did not work, £200 bond actually charged to my account when booking was made - normal practice is for bond to be held and not actioned unless there is an issue. No discounted rate was offered despite the owner being fully aware of the inconvenience suffered.
More homely than a hotel
Apartment was spacious and good location only 15min walk into centre
Amazing apartment excellent instuctions from Kirsty , excellent stay would defo recommend to anyone and would certainly stay again .
Bathroom not overly clean lots of hairs about, nothing to wash up with unless we went and bought sponges or dish washing tablets .
The deposit is a scam. You may aswell add it to the price. I left the place clean and no damage
Actually, was great apartment and loved the view over the river from the 6th floor balcony.
Map location was (is?) central Glasgow but when received the apartment details, it is actually Finnieston street by Clyde arc bridge and amid a flyover wasteland - though interesting area and next to rvier. Also £200 deposit was taken from my account (returned) - this should be stated in the main details in my view.
Great location close to the city center very comfortable
There are many rules in order to book you pay 3 times one for the 1/3 of the amount of your booking one for the rest of the amount and one for a damage deposit which they return after 10 days I think I didn't mind although I ended up to pay 10 more euros to the bank for the charges of my credit card
Great base to visit the city centre, onsite secure parking and free WIFI. The owner was extrememly helpful
the tv did not work first off so we were a day without it but everything else was excellent!
Accommodation was quiet
Accommodation wasn't serviced ready for my arrival - had to wait after numerous calls to get access to the. accommodation & then wait while it was cleaned! Decor needs attention - facility's not up to standard - shower screen coming off wall, wall pictures missing, missing bedside lamps - shower hose broken (I had staff replace) - this was just some of the problems encountered - I strongly advise giving this a wide birth!
easy walking distance into town. Rooms were clean and light.
view from windows was horrific.
