Good receptionist on arrival. Dreadful prices at the bar and poor choice of carry out drinks for the bedroom. No late food except crisps and nuts. Temp a bit cold in room with max limit on thermostat. But good hotel over all. Price a bit too heavy at £65. Bar was a rip off. |

Very spacious comfortable room with a good shower and everything for a good night's sleep. Pleasant efficient staff, good breakfast. The lack of aircon might be an issue in hot weather as it was too noisy to have the window open. |

They seem to have thought of everything for guests needs and are thoughtful abiut rooms allocated to women. There are all you can eat breakfasts, bar snacks during the day and evening meals are served from 5pm. Excellent place to stay and a good, quiet central location close to George Square.. |

The staff were friendly & helpful & the room was well presented. As is usual for me, I found the pillows too thin & the duvet too thick. What did disappoint me, however, was the truly dreadful lack of insulation to prevent the noise from the street. Whilst fully accepting the location of the hotel, there can be no good reason why every sound could be heard from the 5th floor with the window firmly closed. Also, when I booked the room, I requested a smoking room- in the 3 months before booking in, I was not informed that this was not possible, which is poor service. |

Staff were helpful, room was fine, good location Room was noisy through the night as one of the windows didn't shut properly as there was no handle. So didn't get a decent night sleep. Changed room the following day though. |

This Hotel is two blocks from George Square, and an easy walk from Queen Train Station. Somehow, they manage to keep the side street, and Hotel Halls quiet, so sleeping is generally undisturbed. I'm used to having a hotel provide small samples of soap, shampoo, etc. However, here they have wall dispensers, of a soap/shampoo blend, so bringing a loofa/scrubby would have been a good idea. Also, for some reason, our spotless bathroom smelled strongly of urine - really it was visibly, very clean. Staying only overnight, we didn't bother to change rooms, just kept the door shut. |

The hotel was very convenient for Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where I was visiting someone. It is also very well placed for the main stations, shops and eating places. It was comfortable, clean and secure, and as always, I appreciated the standard features, eg tea/coffee, hair dryer, comfortable bed. There were not enough staff on when I checked in at 5.30pm. I and others had to wait a quite a while, and unlike your other hotels that I have stayed in (throughout the UK) the person who checked me in seemed slightly less confident. However, nothing went wrong with my booking. |
