Comfy beds Great breakfast Helpful staff
The Pond is a good location and a great price. Parking was easy, free wifi was a real perk and the food in the pub was good.
The hotel was a bit noisy on the weekend due to a wedding. The bathroom had moldy caulking. I reported this to the front desk more than once but no repair was made.
Staff are always very friendly
This particular weekend had a couple of functions so a lot of noisy drunk people roaming around the first floor. This was however my first ever problem having stayed several times without an issue before.
Restaurant in hotel, size of beds, free wifi, general room cleanliness, great size car park
Cost of food in restaurant, choice of menu
The location is excellent, the room was clean and the staff helpful. The food at the restaurant was very good.
The room was too hot even with the heating off. No air conditioning. We were very unlucky on our second night as there was a wedding party in the Kelvin suite below our room (which was on the first floor) and it was too noisy, impossible to get a good night sleep.
Have clean the place was and all staff was very nice as well
Getting stuck In the lift for over a hour
Rooms were too hot
staff, dinner quality
small room for 3 Bathroom very small
Helpful, friendly staff. Comfortable, clean accommodation throughout. Choice of items for Breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.
Lovely hotel and staff were friendly. Comfy bed and lovely view over pond. Food at night was very nice And restaurant staff were excellent. Free parking was great. Countdown to Christmas was nice to see.
Plug in bathroom doesn't open to let water drain, meaning you need to try pick it out. The second day we only got one towel and needed to go on a wild goose chase to get another. Wi-fi is non existent in rooms despite being advertised as available in all areas which was very inconvenient considering we needed the Internet quite a lot during our stay. A lot of loud noise at night (music from functions) that went on until very late at night/early morning. Very noisy people outside arguing/screaming and car horns beeping until early hours. Also room was VERY hot and due to all the noise at night, opening window just was not an option.
The function that was on finished at 12am. The guests were still shouting and screaming in the car park at 12.40
Distance from town for those without a car especially for returning late evening.
The staff were really friendly, breakfast was good and got vouchers for £7.50pp from staff, room was ok with good enough bed, no complaints especially for price compared with some others
Not brilliant for the amount charged. Staff offhand. They caused great upset by refusing payment for funeral party by prearranged bankers draft, shambolic. Management need to sort themselves out.
Staff were friendly, efficient and effective in their service to the customer. Food available all day restaurant staff fantastic. Location is good Parking onsite or public transport near at hand both bus or train. Rooms comfortable.
Friendly staff, very clean hotel, food great value for money. Choices at breakfast excellent .
Listenting to silly coments from other guests complaints about having to leave hotel at six in the morning because of a fire alarm !!
access, food, rooms and free wifi
the bitter in the bar was weak
Good location. Easy parking. Easy access to Glasgow University and City Centre. Easy access to M8 and to Edinburgh. Breakfast is good.
Bin lorry coming at about 7am and children from a wedding party running up and down the hallway from 6:30 onwards
There was free parking, the room was very clean & well equipped and the facilities excellent. The staff were excellent, friendly & helpful and what made this hotel stand out for me was the personal touch when the housekeeping staff replenished the tea/coffee etc they left extra of what I had used most of the previous day!
The roads getting to the hotel were generally quite busy with traffic as there was a hospital right next to it.
Very comfortable, staff very professional, breakfast was very good with a good selection. Very good car park. Car park attendants very helpful.
Food was of decent quality
Occasionally overwhelmed by a coach party
The hotel is clean, nice staff, quite and located opposite the main road with a very nice view.
There is no fridge in the room, Wi-Fi in the room I was in 4th floor is poor, the location of the hotel is a bit far from the City, shops, restaurants, coffee shops ..etc.
Staff were cheerful and obliging. Hotel modern clean and well designed.
