absolutley fabulous staff, comfortable rooms, excellent shower and good food in the bar and brassiere. plenty of free car parking as well. Byres road is just under 1 mile away, well worth the walk with plenty of bars and every type of resturant you could ever need. |

Was there on business so only used the hotel for bed & breakfast. The exterior of the hotel wasn't particularly welcoming but interior more appealing. The coffee machine at breakfast was slow an caused a queue not very pleasant for those seated close by. Some biscuits in the room would have been nice. |

Convenience, easy parking, service, food As a frequent visitor I do NOT recommend room 117 next to a staff aervice area. Staff did not appear to realise they were chatting and banging doors outside an occupied bedroom. All previous visits have been peaceful and quiet. |

the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is set in a fairly quiet location for being a city hotel. our breakfast could have been hotter the first morning but was fine the second obviously depends when you hit the hot plates as to whether it is fresh or not. i do object to being told to help myself to hot drinks from a vending machine how hard would it be to serve fresh coffee and tea!! |

the rooms, as they had been refurbished since the last time I stayed there good value 1. you could not get a meal in the restaurant after 21.30hrs ... not so good. 2. the carpets in the corridors need replacing. |

the service and the friendliness of your staff were excellent. Hotel decor seemed very dark and alittle unwelcoming. |
