The price was fantastic and the location very central to all needs. The room was huge and most comfortable. We had a lovely view over the clyde thanks to the helpful girl at reception on check in.Cant wait to stay again. The complimentary continental breakfast was far better than we expected with hot food available too. The window was draughty but thats the only negative I can name

We loved the location: it is basically located in the city centre, you can reach Buchanan Street (the shopping centre), as the Merchant city and old high street in 10mins by foot. We also had a lovely walk to the Conference Centre walking along the river Clyde which was just few minutes away. The room was very comfortable, bright and spacious. People at the reception were very nice and professional, as the cleaners. I definitely recommend this hotel! My partner wasn't totally happy about the breakfast because it was continental and he was expecting a full Scottish breakfast, but for me it was fine.

Location / breafast/ value/ Personaly I found the room too cold , the warm air system difficult to control , the air felt warm only below the unit the other end of the room near the window was actualy cold at all times , you could still feel the air blowing but it was like a cold draft, all this was even with me understanding the controls, setting the heater to 25 deg and the blower to minimum, I do not think I would return to this hotel for this reason ( too cold) I also think the hotel could do more to help disabled. Some doors were hard and akward to use

I thought the Holiday Inn Express was very good. It had everything that you needed. The only thing that we had a problem with was that when you walked in the room had a strong smell of damp. It was like clothes that had been left I the washing machine. It was a bit off putting when sitting in the room. As we were there just for the night we didnt say anything as we were hardly in the room. Overall good place to stay.

The location for taking my child to hospital. Compared to other Holiday in Express this resembled a budget hotel. The room was not up to par.

Always like staying in HI express wherever I go staff, facilities everything is good. I generally stay in HI express wherever I go but compared to Belfast HI Glasgow was not up to the mark. Toilet wasn't as clean as expected and bath / hand wash were below standards. Please maintain same standards as Belfast.

One of our group was in Room 343 and there had been someone smoking in the room. We mentioned this to reception and they sprayed the room but the smell was still lingering. By the second night the smell was making the guests feel sick but it was too late to do anything about it. We complained to reception in the morning who were very understanding and asked us to fill out a comments sheet. We are still waiting a response.

Superb location, excellent staff, excellent value and helpful when we had to change our plans. Efficient processes and fault free 3 day stay. Congratulations to the gm - he should be proud of his hotel staff and the whole experience that we had.Thank you. We only booked one nigyt with booking.com but this presented no problem to thew hotel when we wanted to stay an extra night at very short notice - and the price was matched on request. We felt, as a mature couple, that the lighting in the room was demanding. We could have done with a bit more at the lounge end of the room for reading and we found the thermostat hard to read due to lighting. Minor issues in the light of the whole experience which was excellent.

The hotel is excellently placed for a city break, events at the seec or even travelling up to Loch Lomond. The staff could not be more helpful, always serving with a smile . The hotel is well set out and very clean. The breakfast was very good and though advertised as Continental there was hot food of scrambled eggs, sausage and beans as well as a good choice of continental foods. Our bedroom was absolutely fine, plenty of room, tea and coffee provided and nice bathroom. Comfortable beds and very clean. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the center and the railway station is just around the corner if you are going to the seec. The rates are excellent and will definately be using this hotel again.
