The fact that iti was not mentioned that there would be a battle of the bands from the pubs in the street, there was no cooked breakfast , the tv ariel was not plugged in , the smell that greets you when you walk outside (urine from the pub) stale croissants , other than that at least it did have a bed! All in all not a great place to take the kids but ok if you are out on the booze and dont mind cereal for breakfast.! |

the manager who was there when i stayed was excellent as he helped us with directions and taxis. we were at the take that concert and two young girls that we knew missed their train home so he spoke to their parents and gave them directions to the hotel so they could be picked up from there. He was extremely helpful and the parents of the two girls really appreciated this.First class gentleman |

The room was large and clean with good air condtioning and a comfortable bed My room seemed to be adapted for a disabled person and the bathroom had rails and a shower without any demarcation apart form the curtain. It just felt a bit unpleasant and the water was all over the floor of the bathroom. I though tthe breakfast was also too simply functional. I booked on the internet for a reduced price but I'd have been put out to spend any more. In fact I would spend more somewhere else to stay with a little more character. |

The contintental breakfast was great, alot to choose from. That we arrived at 3 o'clock and was expecting our room to be ready but it wasn't we never got into our room till half 4.I was exhausted as im 3and half months pregnant and we had travelled down from Inverness.We had dinner reservations at 5 and we had to cancel. |

within easy access to bus/train station, shopping and concert venues. room was not ready before 5pm however, it was an extremely busy weekend. |

Being able to sit in bar till 2am, although prices exorbitant, £19.60 for 4 drinks ! Not able to get into room untill 4.30pm when we wanted to get ready for a concert. Television did not work, reported at 4.40pm ,nothing was done about it.Two lamps not working, shower and sink gels empty. Son's shower was just a dribble in his room. |

Check in was meant to be 3pm but it was 4.30pm before our room was ready. We were staying in the Holiday Inn as we had a concert nearby - doors opened for the concert at 4pm so we arrived later than we anticipated. There was a notice up saying check-in could be delayed up to 7.30pm so we got off lighter than some guests. I feel when check-in is 3pm your room should be ready. |

The location to city center. The staff. The excellant breakfast and generous to hours for this meal. The toilet did not work well in first room. Second room the bed was horrible - coils sticking up all over the mattress. Mattress hung over the edge by several inches and could not be moved because of the rickety nightstands that were nailed to the wall. Stains on couch. |

The staff were very helpful beds were clean and very comfy breakfast was excellent and very good value for money will stay there again . The hotel was excellent there is nothing my daughter and i diddnt like |
