Very friendly & efficient staff. Delux room had extra benefits of private bar with river views. Great location on the River Clyde, again with great access to the river. So much going on - Tall ships, Helicopters, Sea plane & the famous Southamptpm "Waverley" paddle boat moored directly opposite! If your a runner then great access to run along the river & local parks.

I found the staff to be welcoming and knowledgable. The general upkeep of room 504 was poor i.e The bed linen was stained and had cigarette burn marks on it. The window of the room was poorly sealed and allowing water to leak in to the window sill and created excessive wind noise. The television was more in keeping with a hostel and not what you would expect from a reputable hotel chain.

Friendly efficient staff. Breakfast was a bit shambolic and I dont want to make my own toast if I'm staying in a 4* hotel.

The breakfast at the crowne plaza was fantastic! We were going to a concert at the secc the location of this hotel was perfect for this, it was a winter night and we didn't even have to go outside! The televisions in the bedroom could do with being updated, with more viewing channels.

Was there with friends for the Def Leppard concert at the secc. Beyond fantastic location with the enclosed walkway to the secc. Good value for money and your bar was open all night! Late checkout greatly appreciated. Ease of parking. Just fantastic all the way around. We will be back! (Good breakfast too!)

The location was good, I thought the room was out dated, there were stains on the carpet and the toilet roll was horrible also the towels were not soft.. This is not a 4 star standard as the crown plaza is rated for.

Superb location for secc and Clyde Auditorium as you don't have to brave the weather to get to the shows. Relaxing way to finish an evenings entertainment by just walking back to the hotel for a nightcap and bed. Wonderful.

Ideally situated as we wanted to see an exhibition that was on at the secc as well as go shopping in Glasgow. The staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you although the hotel was vary busy. We will certainly use it again as we enjoyed everything about it including the ease of parking in what is a busy location.

The location for the secc was perfect, didn't even have to go outside in the rain to get to the concert and it wasn't too far from the town centre. Rooms need updating, the tv especially (big and bulky), didn't like having to move the kettle over to the dressing table to get a cup of coffee, and with the furniture being black you noticed a lot of dust, also being quite tall the shower was a bit low and the water ended up going over the floor as the bath screen wasn't wide enough either. Glad I got this on a half price deal as I dont think it is worth the full £130 or so per night.

The room was nicely laid out and decorated. The Lobby bar was funky and reminded me of a bar I went to in New York. The walk way across to the secc was great.
