Everything about it
The 19.99 menu
The food was excellent
Paying for the car park
Hotel is great , nice big rooms and food good
The noise above my room was very loud with chairs moving and banging! This when on from 5pm till 10.30pm and started agin at 6am!! Will stay again but NOT on floor 14!!!
Loved the view from our room
The carpet was a bit worn
Friendly staff was a great bonus. Reception staff on hearing that our daughter paid for the hotel & concert for my wife's birthday sent a bottle of wine, birthday card & chocolates to our room. Thanks-we will be back....
This was the first time I have stopped here and I was extremely impressed. Great location, really helpful & pleasant staff, I will certainly be going back again
The hotel was easy to reach And suitably situated for our concert , the overall view was an good experience apart from when arriving back after the concert to the hotel , I was very rudely spoken to by a member of the bar staff , who had been standing chatting to another staff member and had ignored my polite requests to be served , when I eventually changed my tone and said excuse me again I was told my the male member of staff "I needed to learn to calm down " which I found to be rude and unacceptable behaviour from a staff member. .
Position for The Hydro, easy parking, food available when you needed it. Beautiful breakfast, calming air about the place.
The pillows but should have just asked for a feather one. Husband slept like a log though.
Location was first class for Hydro. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food awesome !!
No complaints. Just didn't stay long enough, that's my only complaint.
Bar area and restaurant good.
Bedroom and especially bathroom a bit tired.
Very good standard hotel
Music choice played on the bar area and in the restaurant at breakfast
Location and ease of access to SECC and The Hydro. Parking was easy and ticket refunded. Clean and tidy hotel with helpful staff.
As the windows don't open ( for obvious reasons) the room was a bit stuffy! Air conditioning unit was noisy to keep on during the night. A minor issue.
The breakfast was excellent as is the location for the Hydro and SECC.
3 rooms were booked but only one was available on arrival at 5.30pm.
Good size room, easy parking, enjoyable breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Efficient check-in and Check-out.
Nothing to dislike.
Location and rooms were brilliant, staff very friendly
Wifi just didn't work, very slow and pages didn't load. Amazing views hidden behind gauze curtains which was a shame
Pillows were too thick
Staff, location and breakfast were all great. Would stay again.
We arrived after 5pm at night and the first room we were sent to had not been cleaned and had clearly been partied in. However our second room was immaculate.
Staff were lovely, helpful & polite. Hotel itself was really nice and had everything you could need. I accidentally left a bag in the room and staff couldn't have been more helpful in arranging to get it sent back to me.
My only criticism is that the rooms are very warm. There is air conditioning but its quite noisy and guests in the rooms next door would not have been happy if I had left the air con. on over night.
Staff in restaurant (breakfast) could be more congenial.
Very good hot water!
Wifi was awful, despite being put on the high-speed internet it struggled to open virtually anything. You absolutely cannot work off the internet. Reception staff seem to each have different information. IE: when I first called for the wifi code I was given the wrong one. Then called down to discuss the internet speed to be very helpfully put through to SwissComm. Was removed from the new internet speed and then called down again to find a receptionist with no knowledge of this and could only give me the standard code. Gym was very smelly also so I avoided it.
I couldnt make it to the hotel we were involed in a car accident on the way and spent the night in hospital.
-My trip was a business related anf the wifi was very very slow I could not do my work from hotel . when asked the receptionist they told me to call the internet provider ( swisscom ) they were not helpful to resolve the internet issue . I had myself to call the internet provider and they could not do anything . - The location is far from city center , you need to pay 6-7 pound to go there , that means around 15 pound every day . anyhow they hotel manager told me that their hotel meant to be far from city center because the hotel mainly designed to be for business men/women and for conferences !! i said SO WHY THE INTERNET is very very slow !!! internet is very important for business people to do their work ... he just smiled at my face !!! i will not go there again ever .
Location good for secc and hydro
Basic hotel with overinflated prices. Rooms dark and not cleanest especially bathroom. Very dirty
Attended as was at a gig in the Armadillo. Excellent location. Had dinner and breakfast both of which were excellent. Although I booked a club room - and yes I know this is minor but there were no robes or slippers. Love the access to the club lounge. Previous experience on 11th floor was that there was no sound proofing but this time did not hear anything from any of the surrounding rooms or above.
Nothing to negative. Toilet very low and it didn't flush too well. Asked for 15th or 16th floor and got 11th.
Cash machine not working - this was the same last time Tray charge £3!!! Rooms could do with a makeover
