Offering a restaurant and 24-hours front desk, this Premier Inn Glasgow Pacific Quay is located on the banks of the River Clyde, less than 3 miles from Glasgow city centre.
Score from 61 reviews Wonderful
Enjoyed every minute, nice room, nice sized bed, relaxing bar, unhurried breakfast in the morning, definitely retuning 5 star performance.
Location - walking distance to the city centre but pleasantly situated in a quiet area overlooking the Clyde. Excellent breakfast room staff and very good facilities.
The venue for an awards dinner is perfect. Loved the location on the Clyde - easy to get to and within short reach of city centre
Location Service Quality
Staff were very helpful.
The bathroom decor , whilst clean, was rather dated and a bit shabby. We had difficulty accessing the wifi.
the room was great with a great view the staff were very helpful
entrance had scaffolding, looked awful front entrance was full of young, drunk smokers we had to negotiate through very expensive for the style of room
The location was perfect for our theatre break ,, easy access into the city
There was nothing I didn't like ,, e
comfortable room friendly staff great leisure facilities minutes from station and glasgow centre
Breakfast, brilliant! Gym and pool very good. Location quite good for a lot of visitor attractions, but not too good for town centre. Train, bus, taxi very near.
Room too hot at night, poor room ventilation unless you leave the heating/aircon on all night at that is noisy.
Quiet location with great views
A bit out of town but plenty of taxis waiting
Location. Views. Big bed.
Waitress service at breakfast too busy chatting to offer coffee had to go to them and again for a teaspoon. Not the best.
Location it wasn't a far walk but it was far enough away.
Pillows were to high
Very convenient hotel, as my conference was at the exhibition centre, and there was an internal link. Impressed with little things, such as the sleep kit and free aromatherapy
Food was very good, excellent breakfast. Staff most helpful. Lovely walks in both directions along the Clyde embankment. Direct access to the SECC.
Can't think of anything
The location was excellent, a brisk walk into the city although the area we went through has seen better days. Car parking was reasonably priced for a city location. Staff very helpful.
Bed a little uncomfortable. Some parts of hotel need a little TLC.
We booked into the crowne plaza for ant and decs takeaway tour the location was perfect and hotel and staff were really nice
We asked for a double room and got a twin room
Great location, staff very helpful and polite.... Room lovely size and gorgeous comfy bed.
View not so great from 1st floor over car park.
I am very pleased with this hotel
WIFI should be free of registration and price
I like the indor swiming pool and location on the bank of Clyde river and beside the convention center.
Room is small eventhough I got the excutive room. The exercise room is too small. No hotel shutle bus from the hotel and city center since there is no resutrunts, coffee shopes or stores close to the hotel. Breakfast has not changed for the 8 days we stayed. We to inter the net code every time we connect to the internet. Lounge in the 15 floor and it should be in lower floor. The fire drill in the early morning that we had to use the stair from the 16th floor and stand in the cold in the street.
Great rooms, right next to Scottish Convention Centre
Totally inadequate Wifi coverage in my room and entire wings of the building (judging by my fellow travellers camped down in the lobby to skype and email). After 3 hours discussion with hotel staff and external IT business, neither could state other rooms where I might get serviceable internet. Very frustrating, made it impossible to keep work going while in room.
Huge bed as I was upgraded to executive room albeit I paid £200 per night anyway!! Huge choice at breakfast the rub being that it wasn't included in the price of the room. Easy access into town and perfect if you were going to the exhibition centre.
Pay for parking. Pay for breakfast Noise from air conditioning unit and the elevators meant a disturbed sleep on both nights. Pay for Wifi
Great leisure facilities ,used pool at night and gym / pool steam room in morning before we enjoyed a great selection at breakfast, lovely comfortable beds good size room, good location for shopping.
Bit pricey for 1 night.
As it was my wife's birthday, the reception staff upgraded us to the 15th floor with amazing views and also gave her a birthday card etc., staff were nice and very helpful
First of all, before We arrived, the hotel management had responded positively and generously to an issue I had raised with booking.com about their (the hotel's) deposit-taking. Secondly, this might be one of the best hotel experiences I have had - and I have had many both in the UK and abroad. The quality of the staff, the facilities and the amenities exceeded my expectations. Worth special mention are the (mostly) young waiting staff who served us on each of the four mornings we were at the hotel. They, and the breakfast service manager/supervisor (sorry, didn't catch her name) were personable, friendly and helpful. In fact, all staff with whom we had contact showed a real 'can do' attitude. Just like the "People Make Glasgow" slogan, people make The Crowne Plaza. Thirdly, we were in an upgraded executive room on the 15th floor. This room was of high quality in terms of size, facilities, quality of linens and towels, etc. The room also included access to a lounge where 'complimentary' snacks, canapés, soft and alcoholic drinks were available. This is a notable and worthwhile add-on benefit.
Only one issue, which I know has been highlighted by other guests. This is the relative noisiness of the aircon. The windows do not open so, if the room is hot during the night, you have to have the aircon switched on. Even at its lowest setting it is a bit intrusive. Maybe not a 'dealbreaker' issue, but still an issue.
I enjoyed the friendly staff, at check in , in the bar and in the restaurant. We had a lovely meal, nothing was too much trouble, the food was very good in very comfortable surroundings. Breakfast was served at a civilised time on Sunday morning and provided all the choice we needed to set us up for the day. Very happy overall and would stay again.
The fact that I wasn't staying longer.
