Overall our stay was comfortable. The lady of the house, Jean, was very nice. We had breakfast overlooking the garden, and the food was excellent. Room service was particularly efficient, not having to ask for anything. We would definitely stay again, probably in a room at the back because of the main road.
Sorry but the wooden plank at the back of the television was not very stylish and in my opinion had an overall impact on the room. Although ours was a basic room I notice that it was in the other rooms also.
LOCATION,VIEWS,OWNER, BREAKFAST, BED WAS FANTASTIC, WARM COMFORTABLE. VERY WELCOMING.ENSUITE LOVELY. FAULTLESS
CAN NOT THINK OF ONE THING
We were a group of 6 female friends looking for time together to chat and play. Glebe House fitted our needs perfectly - we were set up with a High Tea set for our tea party, had a fun swim to ourselves, comfy nights sleep and a great breakfast in the morning. Because of our numbers we had the place to ourselves so really felt like we were spoiled - we had time together without any cooking or cleaning. Glebe House is just the right distance from Bath to enjoy the town yet feel like one's in the countryside.
There was nothing we didn't like. I would just say that a couple of drawer knobs came off in my hand! easily screwed back in though....
Nice room, great breakfast, attentive service
Jean was very welcoming and friendly and her breakfast was excellent. She readily provided the things I had requested. The room and en-suite facilities were of a very high standard.
Our room could have been a bit warmer in the evening and a softer topped mattress would have made our stay perfect.
On arrival we were able to check in early. We were going into Bath for the rugby. It's a 10 minute taxi ride. The owner booked us the taxi and then offered us tea or coffee while we waited. The breakfast was excellent with a spread for everyones taste. Will definitely use again.
Everything about it was first class and the service was excellent. Lovely spacious room, with tea making facilities, sky and wi fi and fabulous location. Also indoor pool available.
Nothing to dislike at all.
Bed Cleanliness Hostess Location Parking
No light on sign at entrance so difficult to see in the dark
Bed was a bit squishy but I like a v firm matress.
Free wifi Swimming pool Comfortable Beds Superb fell english breakfast Good Parking secluded location Well kept large garden
WC shows its age clean but stained Nothing else Nothing else Nothing else Nothing else Nothing else Nothing else
Owners are friendly, facilities are good, rooms are big and breakfast was good.
Rooms could do with a bit of paint as it's starting to peel and I found the beds hard but some people may refer this.
Everything. The room was huge, very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent and very complete and everybody was very kind and helpful. You may even use the indoor pool. It is value for money indeed. If you intend to visit the Bath/Wells/Cheddar area, and you want to feel really right in the middle of the English countryside, you should consider seriously Glebe House for you stay.
Nothing really. Just to mention something, the slight rumour of the road nearby, but even that does not bother the sense of peace and well being.
Jean looked after us wonderfully, opening up the pool especially for us. Recommended a local pub including a discount voucher for food. Amazing breakfast, followed a good nights sleep.
staff very accommodating and friendly, lovely house and garden.
no bath in room for baby, admittedly we didn't specify one. swimming pool changing room very cold especially for a baby
The car park was full due the parents, taking the children to the swimming pool, the pool always busy.
A very warm welcome, lovely house, comfortable bed, nice garden and great view at the back.
It's a little out of the town, but that isn't a problem with a car.
Breakfast, views, pool, friendliness in fact everthing
Jean made my sister and myself feel welcome from the start. Our rooms were very comfortable and clean. On the following morning we managed a swim in the pool before eating an excellent breakfast. The gardens are lovely and overlook beautiful countryside. This B&B was a wonderful find.
I have stayed at Glebe House twice, and highly recommend it. A warm welcome, friendly service and lovely rooms along with a fantastic breakfast made my stay very comfortable.
it was really nice and I would recommend it to family and friends the house was really clean and the rooms was fab I would like to say a big thank you to the lady as she was brilliant and she suggested where is the best food is at the bell inn and we went to the food was 5* the breakfast was nice as well we could have lots of different things to choose from
the phone going off at midnight but the lady said that she has one next to her bed but the ringer had stopped working
Well kept house. Breakfast was good. Would suggest fresh fruit option at breakfast. Beautiful garden and views.
Pillows rather flat, not offering enough support.
Very friendly welcome, nothing was too much trouble, will stay again if we are in the area.
We had a bedroom that looked out onto the road, which was very busy 24 hours a day, so needless to say we didn't get a lot of sleep. Next time we will book earlier and hopefully get a room overlooking the lovely garden.
Excellent rooms, very clean & friendly. Cooked breakfast was perfect! Looked like it was off an advert - everything presented & cooked to perfection. Would love to stay there again & highly recommend
The premises were better than expected and included a swimming pool. The welcome was friendly and helpful and allowed an early arrival. The views were stunning, will definitely be staying again.
Room was lovely clean and spacious, jean was a wonderful host. Made use of the lovely heated pool, breakfast was plentiful, not s bad thing to say about glebe house
