Space of room A+ View of room A+ English breakfast A+ I like Jane who is profession in B&B. She is always smiles and try to do best of meet customers needs. Her dress and smiles with passion won my heart.
I used to live B&B in four places. This is best one. Looking forward to stay again.Love her kindness understanding.
friendly, comfortable, convenient
Huge, beautiful room with good size ensuite, sofa, spectacular view, splendid breakfast. Swimming pool was a huge bonus -I had it to myself both evenings. Very handy for Bath - I usedthe Park and Ride a short drive away. Very thoughtful (but not intrusive) hostess. I needed to relax after a very stressful time and Glebe House was perfect for this
Quiet location, yet only 2km from town facilities. Indoor pool and plenty of free parking. Breakfast was plentiful and there was a good selection of cereals, jams etc.
Take away net curtains in bathroom and needs new towels
Very friendly and helpful bed and breakfast, Jean helped to provide us with a beautiful bottle of wine on our arrival for my wife's birthday with a lovely card accompanying it. We had private use of the swimming pool which is large and warm. Rooms were clean, spacious and warm. Breakfast is very nice with plenty of choices including cereals and full English.
Glebe house was lovely, we arrived and was made to feel very welcomed and even though it was short notice the lady let us take our daughter swimming straight away and we literally had been there five minutes. The room was great with a lovely ensuite. The view and surroundings was amazing. Breakfast was served from a full English to cereal, toast etc, lots of choice. It was just what we were looking for and it was so peaceful. 20 minute drive to the safari park, and also a shop and pub that serves food just down the road. Everything was available to make our stay most enjoyable and will recommend to friends and family. Really enjoyed our stay.
There was nothing about our stay that we didn't like. Couldn't of asked for anymore.
The location was ideal for us. Staff were helpful, kind and looked after us well. Rooms were good and quiet.
Only problem was entering into the driveway at night from a main road rather dark and dimly lite=,
BEDS, BATHROOM, LOUNGE, BREKKIE, OWNER, SCENERY
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the premises were beyond my expectations. Breakfast was first rate, and I would stay there again
a wonderful welcome. A lovely house
Overall our stay was comfortable. The lady of the house, Jean, was very nice. We had breakfast overlooking the garden, and the food was excellent. Room service was particularly efficient, not having to ask for anything. We would definitely stay again, probably in a room at the back because of the main road.
Sorry but the wooden plank at the back of the television was not very stylish and in my opinion had an overall impact on the room. Although ours was a basic room I notice that it was in the other rooms also.
LOCATION,VIEWS,OWNER, BREAKFAST, BED WAS FANTASTIC, WARM COMFORTABLE. VERY WELCOMING.ENSUITE LOVELY. FAULTLESS
CAN NOT THINK OF ONE THING
We were a group of 6 female friends looking for time together to chat and play. Glebe House fitted our needs perfectly - we were set up with a High Tea set for our tea party, had a fun swim to ourselves, comfy nights sleep and a great breakfast in the morning. Because of our numbers we had the place to ourselves so really felt like we were spoiled - we had time together without any cooking or cleaning. Glebe House is just the right distance from Bath to enjoy the town yet feel like one's in the countryside.
There was nothing we didn't like. I would just say that a couple of drawer knobs came off in my hand! easily screwed back in though....
Nice room, great breakfast, attentive service
Jean was very welcoming and friendly and her breakfast was excellent. She readily provided the things I had requested. The room and en-suite facilities were of a very high standard.
Our room could have been a bit warmer in the evening and a softer topped mattress would have made our stay perfect.
On arrival we were able to check in early. We were going into Bath for the rugby. It's a 10 minute taxi ride. The owner booked us the taxi and then offered us tea or coffee while we waited. The breakfast was excellent with a spread for everyones taste. Will definitely use again.
Everything about it was first class and the service was excellent. Lovely spacious room, with tea making facilities, sky and wi fi and fabulous location. Also indoor pool available.
Nothing to dislike at all.
Bed Cleanliness Hostess Location Parking
No light on sign at entrance so difficult to see in the dark
Bed was a bit squishy but I like a v firm matress.
Free wifi Swimming pool Comfortable Beds Superb fell english breakfast Good Parking secluded location Well kept large garden
WC shows its age clean but stained Nothing else Nothing else Nothing else Nothing else Nothing else Nothing else
Owners are friendly, facilities are good, rooms are big and breakfast was good.
Rooms could do with a bit of paint as it's starting to peel and I found the beds hard but some people may refer this.
Everything. The room was huge, very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent and very complete and everybody was very kind and helpful. You may even use the indoor pool. It is value for money indeed. If you intend to visit the Bath/Wells/Cheddar area, and you want to feel really right in the middle of the English countryside, you should consider seriously Glebe House for you stay.
Nothing really. Just to mention something, the slight rumour of the road nearby, but even that does not bother the sense of peace and well being.
Jean looked after us wonderfully, opening up the pool especially for us. Recommended a local pub including a discount voucher for food. Amazing breakfast, followed a good nights sleep.
staff very accommodating and friendly, lovely house and garden.
no bath in room for baby, admittedly we didn't specify one. swimming pool changing room very cold especially for a baby
