we were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. we went as a birthday treat for my fiancée. she had facial and body massage by Debbie which was fantastic. Locals very friendly. We are so pleased we booked at the Glebe.
Evening meal not too good & no prices on the menu.Staff at breakfast not very attentive
Room was perfect Comfy Bed Very Quiet Ideal Location Great for families Very nice and helpful staff Food excellent Plenty of parking
Nice new room decor and ensuite.
Room 226 at the top of the stairs above reception, the staff seemed to meet up there for a morning meeting ! We could hear them all talking and laughing loudly from about 7.0am !
the whole weekend was great, the staff were very helpful and cheerful, the food was excellent and presented well
Breakfast was largely out of tins;not great. Room decor was a little tired.
The staff were very welcoming and the beds very comfortable ! We had an enjoyerble stay.we
We hoped for a nice view but we looked out onto a roof.
Staff very friendly and attentive. Room comfortable. Food good.
Nothing of note
The location was OK
The hotel is apparently being refurbished but there were some areas that obviously had not been cleaned in months and this had nothing to do with the refurb. My wife was very ill on our first night and the staff did not have a clue what to do. The food was very over priced and not that good
nice ambience, comfortable bedrooms with good en suite, separate bar and lounge area, large dining room . On checking out, we mentioned our complaints and were then referred to the manager. He said he had only recently taken over the hotel and was in the process of training staff to his way of working, and consequently refunded us for a poor evening meal, and gave us a bottle of sparkling wine to make amends for our complaints, which were proven to be justified. On this note, we would return to the Glebe Hotel, as the manager handled everything to our satisfaction.
breakfast dining room staff rude and patronising. Evening food in dining room inedible.
welcomed with a friendly smile when we first entered the hotel.
Excellent value, friendly and helpful staff, attractive building and location.
We liked almost everything! All the staff were friendly and helpful, our room was clean and had good facilities and the wi-fi was very easy to access. At some hotels we have given up after a very frustrating period of trying!
The hotel do 'baby splash' classes which is great but when we entered the leisure club, a dad was changing his baby's soiled nappy on one of the exercise mats in the gym room. Maybe they could create facilities for this?
Beautiful location Very neat and clean and excellent service. We wanted to get up late and asked if they would keep our breakfast which they sent it up to our room. We were very happy to have breakfast in bed! No
Location - Barford is a lovely village just outside of Warwick. Several lounge areas where you could relax. Facilities of a gym and indoor pool.
Room had a small high window. Room sometimes felt warm and stuffy.
Dated and needed decoration
breakfast was very good staff very slow and I felt that as we came down a bit late it was very inconvenient. Lovely hotel had the impression that new owners had not long taken over and there was improvements on way
Very strong smell of paint in my daughter & son in laws bedroom.
Location Facilities - pool steam room sauna breakfast was excellent quality Reception staff very helpful and smiley
Wi Fi was hard work, but eventuallly connected Breakfast was a bit rushed as preparing for lunch Family room was a good size , but the coloyr scheme is a bit dated
The Glebe hotel is just lovely building with very interesting design and wonderful staff
The food was a bit too expensive. Unstable Wi-Fi.
The staff were very courteous and efficient. The fitness facilities and sauna were the highlight. The evening meals were excellent.
The evening meals were somewhat pricey (exceeding my companies £18 allowance). The mushrooms for breakfast were tasted more of oil than mushroom. I'd advise frying in margarine or butter rather than cooking oil.
Welcoming and helpful staff. Clean and tidy hotel.
Pool , but showers were very poor , sauna was not always on, jacuzzi did not work
Skimpy with biscuits, one pkt for two . 4 tea bags a night . Breakfast was disappointing , tinned fruit , cold beans every morning . So disappointing . It was like every thing was rationed . A dirty pillow cas was left in our room , which was left as a duster . I hope it wasn't left to clean the tea cups. So I washed them to make sure
I liked the staff and the car park, and the proximity to Warwick.
I didn't like the window which was tiny and above my height so couldn't look out. The swimming pool was small. The breakfast was limited(only one herb tea and soggy toast) and no personal shower gel/bath soap/shampoo.Bar was rather bleak and lack of artistic taste.
