Swimming pool was great and Beautician was very good
low tables to eat on in bar area
the location and building - very historic and lovely and friendly hepful staff.
2nd visit room was very shabby - should have refused it - have stayed there several times and before rooms always good before.
Very nice staff
Noise in single room area of 301 - sounded like heating system.
Staff were friendly breakfast very nice.,
Bedroom and bathroom need refurb. Cobwebs on ceiling windows very old. Radiator not working. But there was electric heater. really just needs o good overhaul. A little expensive for the qutility of the room
Comfy good with gym and pool staff were friendly
Lot of dead flys though middle of winter and no shower Curtin in the room!
we booked hotel for 3 days we were down visting my daughter and family at warwick we enjoyed our stay breakfast was very good def stay here next time here
Great parking, good room, excellent staff. Very comfortable and clean
The hotel was extremely pleasant and the staff were super: friendly and competent, showing confidence and personality (a stark contrast to the cheesiness and plasticity one occasionally encounters in the large featureless hotels). Excellent value, I shall not only stay here again, I shall also recommend it. This hotel deserves to be popular.
What didn't I like? Mere trivia: Noise from a group of people chatting and laughing in a neighbouring room and a wooden bar under the breakfast table making drawing up the chair impossible. I have struggled to criticise this hotel – I loved it.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere, great staff, beautiful village. Breakfast excellent. Room nice clean and tidy, superb bathroom. All round fab stay.
Only stayed one night. Room was good although the bathroom could do with updating. Nice small swimming pool and gym. Evening meal was very nice. Overall an enjoyable, reasonably priced stay.
The location of the hotel was fine and the room although at the end of a tired corridor was very nice and well equipped. the service at breakfast was friendly and the dinning room nice and airy
On arrival the receptionist was on the phone we did not expect her to cut her conversation short but it would have been nice to have been acknowledged we stood at reception like lemons for a good 2 to 3 minutes. The room was let down by a bathroom that was tired and had black mildew round the bath with taps that required 2 hands to operate
We had previously stayed and enjoyed our first visit at this hotel on a travel zoo offer Last few remaining rooms were pictured on booking .com so that is why booked a further visit
On check in we were given a very small double room which was different to that viewed on offer we were then offered another room which we viewed of which they then offered another room of which was of the level of what was advertised on offer. We also then found out there was a wedding on in the hotel of which we had no idea until check in so we felt we had no option to go out of the hotel for a meal and we could hardly park when we came back from our meal and we were actually staying for 2 nights!! We had no fault with staff or level of service however to fill last 2 remaining rooms when a function is on is really not fair on outside guests when we had previously liked and enjoyed the experience on our first visit
Everything a good hotel shoot be. Can't fault anything.
Hotel is conveniently located near to m40, and was a good base for exploring the surrounding area. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean.
Room was a bit small as was the bed. Decor looking somewhat tired.
Friendly staff, good value, swimming pool
Local taxi firm 30 mins late, wifi not quite good enough to stream a whole movie
Pretty much everything. My first stay and not my last.
I only stayed one night
As I was with my family
They gave me an old room and the rest are refurbished, I booked 2 singles as they gave me a family room so I had a child bed and also I was up all night from the room next door noise. I complained and they said the manager would call me as it was their error giving me the wrong room - to date I am still waiting
Location and setting Staff were friendly and helpful Bar was comfortable and beer good quality Hotel was well decorated and fitted out Room comfortable and pleasant
There was some flies in the corridors and room. Also some dead flies on the Windowsills. I am sure this is a problem that could easily be dealt with.
Well met at reception Staff always very helpful at all times Hotel only 5 mins from M40, but in a nice quiet village . Easy access to lots of historical locations.Room was comfortable and large
I am being very picky here Only two things stuck in my mind. On arrival we had a bar snack of turkey sandwiches, considering the style of hotel We did expect fresh cut turkey and not processed. For some reason the area where we sat had small flies irritatingly buzzing about this may be due to the fountain close by
Evening meal was average which was the only non-excellent part of the stay
Pool was warm and included in price. Staff very friendly and helpful and eager to please. Good selection of drinks. Breakfast was good and hot.
Evening meals were disappointing. Small portions (a half crushed potato) and very fatty lamb. Desserts were very poor - cheesecake was more of a mousse. Overall, just seemed a cheap meal. Serving staff were excellent so the food shouldnt reflect on them. They serve what they have.
The location of the hotel was lovely and the staff very friendly, lovely breakfast and good service
The room although clean needed updating. Low water pressure in the shower lack of signal for TV channels window very high and heavy to iopen and close
I loved the room, the bed, the situation of the Glebe and the village it was in. The garden was pretty too.
Not enough milk or tea / coffee, just a little thing really but can make a big difference
The shower in room 104 failed to work and needs urgent rectification.
Swimming pool,gym etc
