Score from 582 reviews Very good
Good value. Clean and comfortable. Handy for the Theatre and shopping.
Lounge bar on need of update, a bit tired in terms of decor etc. Breakfast could have had more choice on the buffet e.g. juices, variety of teas and fruit. Full cooked breakfast was fine.
Separate buildings Beautiful views fab breakfast MASSIVE bathroom
Room 601 right beside front door and it was banging night and day
Late night bar option in hotel
Wireless did not work
Parking facilities Friendly staff Comfy Room Easy to find Excellent breakfast
Slightly confusing reception entrance not too well signposted
We stayed at the Glen after booking online. The price was really good and the room was nice! Unfortunately, the shower wasn't working, so after one night we were upgraded to an even better room! Staff was awesome, food is really good and location is great! Only downside was having to go to the desk to ask for a new wifi password many times a day as it would change for no reason, but that really was a small bother compared to all the great plus sides of the place!
The location is good and that's about it...
The property is too old... The toilets are old with the sink having two separate water faucets for hot and cold... This definitely needs an up grade to a hot and clod mixer we do not live in the 18 th century... It said free WIFI but the wifi was no where to be seen I guess the cottage that we were put up in was too far away... For the pric charged it should have had better facilities.... Not recommended
Beautiful view looking out over the river and an easy walk around town.
Our room was small and crowded with furniture. The shower was absolutely tiny and very shabby. A bolt latch to close the door and there was a string to pull to turn on the light.very down market.
Location is excellent with just a short walk into the town centre Great views across the river Good breakfast
The only negative thing we could say would be the rather dim lighting
We Just loved the comfort and location of this hotel, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Lovely room well equipped, very clean. Lovely veiw
Breakfast was like a jumble sale both days, and very poor quality. Using the hotel public rooms in the evening was unpleasant! Very very noisy, we went elsewhere.
Excellent Location.Staff were friendly. Rooms clean. Food good with plenty of choice at breakfast.
Asked for accessible room for wheelchair user. Was.given room in cottage that was difficult to get in and out front door. Bathroom was supposed to be wet room but no grab rails, which made showering impossible.
Location and very comfortable bedroom and lovely en suite
The fire alarm going off at 3.40am and no member of staff around to tell us we could go back to our rooms
Good location. Comfortable bed. Warm.
There was a smell of bins/drains up the stairs to the bedroom in Struan Building. Thankfully this didn't infiltrate the room itself. The radiators needed bleeding.
Comfortable single room
Breakfast was virtually all self-sevice and uninspiring.
Spacious bedroom and bathroom, plenty of hot water
Room dark and impossible to see in wardrobe. Wifi in process of being updated and was intermittent...should get better.
Location, Staff and Service
Good food, excellent service and comfortable rooms, thoroughly recommend!
Hotel not one building, you may need to go outside to get from room to central facilities.
Excellent location. Great bar man, quality service. Loved the decor in all locations.
No veggie sausages for breakfast! Fabric a bit worn on the furniture in the bar. Couldn't view all of the tv screen from the bed....
As someone who works often in Inverness, this Hotel is one of the best, the staff, accommodation and food are simply the best.
location parking breakfast
undergoing renovations, we were not warned. entrance dismal. rooms smelled very strongly of new paint
Friendly welcome extremely helpful staff and breakfast open until 11 am. Nice lazy start to each of two days we were there and close to everything we wanted to do.
Central Close to river Ness Good free parking Place had character
Reception was not prominent and hard to find
Good comfortable room, good food reasonable price, parking.
Prompt action at my request for a change of room. This was because not only was my allocated room up a flight of stairs, but there were actually several stairs inside the room. This was not a good idea for a small lady aged 87. Staff were very helpful and immediately arranged a very comfortable alternative.
All very good, but I thought it expensive. I have never paid more than £86 for comparable accommodation in central London.
Room was very spacious complete with a seperate living area also beautiful view of the river Ness
Breakfast wasn't the best compared with other hotels I've stayed in Inverness.
