A range of drinks are served in the bar, including an extensive whiskey collection, and there are cozy log-burning fires in winter. The view of the river Ness is outstanding. Staff was very helpful. The radiator in our room wasn't working well, but the staff immediately brought an electric heater which worked out well.

We loved it all. The comfort..the luxury..space..the location..the good friendly service..the food..the calmness.....and most of all the value for money. Absolutely excellent. There was nothing we didn't like whatsoever.

inverness breakfast leaving to go home check in. never got in room till 3.30. no bath. WC and sink in a cupboard. shower in another cupboard.both cupboards were wipe clean but there was a lot of mould round the shower head and door.very noisy toilet, could not use it during the night as it would have woken up the entire building.bed 2 singles pushed together to make a very uncomfortable double.curtains were thin and there was no black out blind meaning we were awakened as soon as daylight broke through.floors very creaky. plastic toilet seat and plastic drinking cups in the room.

Nice upgrade to riverview.Helpful pleasant staff always. Telephone was out of order all the time - no one came to fix it. Breakfast tray order not 100% correct and no answer when husband tried to ring the hotel. Ran our of looroll - so little there. No replacement breakfast tray slips and night staff didn't know where to find them. Had to request room cleaning - not done at 1pm.

We had one of the apartments which was awesome. Absolutely nothing missing would highly recommend them! We travelled with my mother in law. She was booked into a single room and unfortunately, it was up numerous flights of stairs. Which was difficult for an aged lady on her own with luggage. A lift would be good or another building better for seniors.

Excellent location. Some really nice staff, but I would not include senior ones!!! Had a meal in the resteraunt but when served, my wife's meal was very salty. It was takne back to the kitchen and chef said he had made an error. We were offered another meal but by that time, I would have finished mine and would also have to wait for my wife to receive and then finish her meal. I recieved the bill and my wife's meal was not on the bill. However, in any resteraunt I have hada problem in before, there has been some token gesture as an appology. Here we got nothing!! We were told we would get our drinks gratis but when I went to pay our bill the following morning, the receptionist had been informed to charge us full price and that she could do nothing about it and that if I wanted to complain then I had to e mail the manager!!! Not the way to treat a customer when there had been a problem caused by the hotel. In fact if that is how guests are treated in the Highland Capital, then it makes me ashamed to be a Highlander. Also, after ordering, had to wait 40 minutes to be served breakfast. Sort staffed perhaps!!

Prefect situation. Large room, nice bar (although a bit expensive ) The smell of paint in our room, old fashioned furniture ( drawers would not open properly).SHOWER was rather dangerous, could not control the temperture very well no safety control on shower ie water got really hot. Please not say breakfast is cooked to order, as tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon, and eggs were all kept warm in the warming oven. In fact my poached eggs were hard.

Friendly and helpful staff, we stayed in the cottages and the rooms were very spacious with everything you needed, great location and secure parking.Breakfast was very good. As we were ground level , it would have been better to have vertical blinds on the window for added privacy.

Great location by the riverside and close to town centre and all amenities. Free wifi and car parking a great bonus. Good shower and plenty of very hot water. Groundfloor room with large window meant we felt like being in a fish bowl! Everyone who went past looked straight in to our room! Lighting in the room was very poor - ceiling light did not light up the room and bedside lights were impractical for nighttime reading!
