“ Value for money ! It is the best amongst all "home stay" type of accommodation I have come across. Both Simon & David are thoughtful people, and it reflects in every single setting and arrangement in the room and breakfast provided. The owners were great, very friendly and knowledgable about the area and the walks we were planning on going on. Fantastic cooked breakfast each morning and a comfy bed at the end of a long day walking! We will definitely be back!

The location is excellent. A mile from Lake Windermere. Breakfast was always amazing and lots of choice. Simon and David are lovely and friendly and made us feel very welcome. They suggested a lovely walk and places to eat. Nothing.

Good accomodation at an excellent price. Owners couldn't be more friendly and make you feel weclome. Would recommend to people of all ages. Close to the heart of Windermere it's ideally located to enjoy the town and is only 15-20 minutes walk from Bowness.

We liked the ecclairs near the entrance. There was a warm atmoshere about the house. The location was within walking distance to the shops and restaurants - so we didn't have to worry about driving. Parking was okay. The breakfast was the best I've had (Lorna) since having breakfasts at B&B's for almost 2 weeks prior!! Simon was an excellent host. The walls were a little thin form room to room - we could hear the other guests!

Rooms were very clean Breakfast was very good, best veggie sausages I've had Simon and David very helpful Good location, quiet, off main road Parking very nearby with permit provided by B&B Beds in one double and twin room were a bit small No access to central living room / tv room area to gather as a group other than breakfast room at breakfast time.

What a great place. Ever so friendly hosts - clean - obvioulsy loved and cared for. Nothing was too much - the breakfast was wholesome and really good value. All the other guests staying there that I spoke to also were all of the same opinion. Hosts Simon and Dave really made a special effort to make sure everything was okay. I'd definitely stay there again. Thanks. Well done !! Nothing - it was great.
