Our room, and ensuite, were very spacious. We had views over the town to the countryside. The room was very quiet. Breakfast was delivered promptly and was delicious. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is right in the centre of this historic town.
Set in a grand Georgian house with landscaped grounds, Allerton House offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and cooked breakfasts. The pretty center of Jedburgh is a 5-minute walk away.

Food superb. Wide range of breakfast options. Staff very attentive and friendly. Comfortable bed and everything was clean and spotless. Dining/ sitting room looked lovely and comfortable too. Peace and quiet away from the road.
Set within 15 acres of rural woodland and gardens, this guest house is 1.5 miles from the center of Jedburgh. Hundalee House has free WiFi and eggs from resident hens are served in the mornings.

We loved the historic building and especially the warm fire in the dining room during breakfast. What a setting!

Lovely little market town where we normally just break our journey up to Aberdeen. It was nice to spend a little bit longer even though it's now the 'off season'. Lovely surroundings - it would seem there's a lot to do around there in Spring/Summer. Also some nice restaurants - especially Bella Sicily.

Plenty to see all within easy walking distance in this small town. Good choice of eating out, even on a Sunday evening. There is also a good selection of independent shops and small businesses in the centre.

Plenty of shops, gift shops, bars and restaurants and places of interest, also near to other places to visit ie. Kelso, Hawick and a bit further Edinburgh.
All car parks in Jedburgh are free which is a huge bonus.

Jedburgh was a good base for the walks and visits to abbeys we had plaaned. However, tip for other travellers if you want to eat out book ahead! Opening times in the Borders are quirky to say the least and sometimes owners don't adhere to them. We found some great restaurants but we discovered you can't just go into Jedburgh and expect to get a meal!
The Allerton is located right in Jedburgh within walking distance of the Abby and dining locations. The suite we had included a bedroom, a small kitchen area, a sitting room, and a bathroom with a shower and heated towel rack. The breakfast was what you would expect from and highly rated guest house. It was prepared extremely well. You sit at individual tables with your room name on a label for your table. The coffee comes in a French press and is excellent. We would stay here again should we ever have a reason to come back to Jedburgh.
The location is exceptional, right in central Jedburgh, with a lovely view across the river from our room. The room was comfortable, well-equipped and spotless, with a good, powerful shower. The hall and other public areas were also spotless and cosily decorated. The breakfast options were varied and interesting and everything tasted wonderful. We would definitely stay again.
The house is beautiful, in a lovely isolated location but sufficiently close to Jedburgh for food. The room was very comfortable and the shower very good. Breakfast was served in the most wonderful room with an open fire which Sheila lit despite there being only two of us there.
All in all a very good experience
Lovely location in Jedburgh. Room great, easy access, well designed and furnished, very comfortable. Lovely shower. We ate in the restaurant too and what a treat, best meal we've had in a very long time, truly exceptional in all regards and great value for money.
Clearly a lot of love, time and effort out into this little place. Was clean, beautiful set out and extremely comfortable. Dog friendly, our pooch was super comfortable. Jackie was so friendly and welcoming. Really felt at home during our stay.
Margaret was very, very helpful and very welcoming. We enjoyed our chat and used her knowledge of the area. Nothing was a bother for her.
Breakfast was wonderful, best B and B breakfast we have had.
House was warm and cozy on cold night.
The B&B is in a perfect location, the house is beautiful and very comfortable. Sheila is very welcoming and happy to help. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for accommodation in the Jedburgh area.
Excellent breakfast quality ingredients finely cooked and presented. Friendly and attentive front of house and waiting staff. The hotel had a warm and agreeable atmosphere in keeping with the building`s history.
Beautiful location, quiet, peaceful manor house. Only 2 rooms for guests in a separate wing of the house. Breakfast room also lovely with sitting area and views of the pond and adjoining farm fields.
A comfortable clean room in a nice part of Jedburgh which was very convenient for the Borders Abbeys Way which we were doing. There was no problem with rucksacks, boots etc.
Spacious, comfortable, very clean flat, a few minutes walk uphill from the town centre. Good view over Jedburgh, including Jedburgh Abbey from the lounge and kitchen.
We both loved the fact that it was so clean and well kept in such a beautiful area. The owner was nice when they handed us the keys and showed us round the property.
