flexible check in, location, parking more of a B&B, and because of that seemed slightly over priced |

The hotel was ideally located for walking acces to Bowness and all it has to offer. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, making the hotel an ideal place to relax, unwind and get away from every day stresses. The pass to the local leisure complex in Bowness was also ideal and a unique bonus to our stay. We found the use of the pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room very relaxing. The food on offer at the hotel was also of a very high quality and beautifully cooked and presented. |

Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. The web site mentioned it as 4 star whereas it was actually two star based on AA rating, the location was average and the lesiure facilities were not on site which the web site failed to mention. I think for the facilities provided it was overpriced. |

good location, somewhere to park, en suite and a bar . did not need the car to see the local area, all within walking distance. Room was comfortable and clean. peaceful and relaxing two days . Breakfast was well cooked and plenty of it. the staff were pollite. not enough dining room space. however it just meant waiting 15mins for a table at breakfast which wasnt the end of the world. |

Reception was efficient for check-in. The breakfast meal was good. The beds were uncomfortable and not up to par with standards. I also had a hugh black spider on my bed one morning. The coffee was very low quality - made with instant powder I was told. I also will not stay at a hotel with this type of cancellation policy again as we had to pay in full even though we weren't able to stay the last 2 nights due to an emergency illness and return flight back home. |

Very clean, and not too far from the main attractions. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Spa bath far too noisy to use as this is a quiet place. But that is only a minor issue. |

Room was clean and newly decorated, although furniture was not new. Bathroom very nice. Plenty of cupboard space. Comfortable bed. 18 guest rooms but only 12 tables in dining room, meant some guests had to wait for a table. Only one hour for breakfast! |

The staff were warm and friendly, the location was great and the rooms were comfortable and clean. I received a call from a member of staff who was extremely helpful about my initial booking The lounge area was lovely and there was a relaxed atmosphere in the breakfast room. After staying in a family room in Wales on the beach front, I thought the room was overpriced. There was a putrid smell in the bathroom in room 16. The breakfast was on the small side and the sausage was poor quality. |

We liked the friendliness of all the staff and the owners. It was exceptionally clean - we loved our room. Everyone made us feel very welcome and the breakfasts were great - the dinners fantastic! What a chef!! I loved his sticky toffee pudding! Nothing at all - first class. It deserves more than 2 stars! |
