warm friendly welcome.Owners eager to help. Comfy pleasant room and excellent breakfast. Nothing too much trouble. In en-suite would have liked curtain at bathroom window. First place we've stayed that didn't have curtain at bathroom window. There was frosted glass but not sure it works too well once light is on. Also problem with water.

The hosts Gail and Martin couldn't do enough for us, such a friendly couple and so eager to help and please. Great breakfast and plenty of it. Nice warm duvet on the bed. Very convenient location near railway and bus stations, town, beach and harbour. The pool table is a great bonus and a fun way of winding down in the evenings. Very good value and a great stay, no hesitation in recommending Glencoe Hotel to anyone. Small samples of shampoo, etc would be a welcome extra.

We have just returned from a weekend break at the Glencoe Hotel in Bridlington. We couldn’t have been met by a warmer welcome. Whilst the décor is in slight need of a lick of paint the bedding and towels were spotlessly clean. We have stayed in many Hotels and Guest Houses over the years and we can honestly say we have never had a better breakfast. There’s lots of variety, it’s well cooked and served piping hot (which makes a really nice change). We would definitely stay there again and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

The location was excellent ,put your foot out the door and you are close to shops, bars restaurants and the beach, our hosts, martin and gail were very friendly and helpfull, the breakfast was very good and our room was ideal as we have a small dog and was next to an open patio, the glencoe has a small comfy bar, ideal if the weather is bad and dont want to venture out, there is also a pool table, all in all we had a good stay and will be booking again! Thanks again, brian and moira, tyneside, july 2012
