Glendale Hyde Park Hotel  

was in a great location near Paddington station. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean.Ideal for one person.

The room was a bit small for 2 people,the shower and toilet were small but manageable. Price was a bit high, but that's London

They added as 3% additional charge because we paid with visa credit card. That information was not included in booking.com page and it was a bad surprise on our arrival there. Lack of lifts and we had to carry our luggages.

Nothing this was the worst hotel ever Never ever again

small Stairs. Better do not carry to big luggage. 98 stairs Breakfast to room ... and vice versa, should your room be located in the upper floor.

Rooms too small, dirty toilet. breakfast poor standard and dining room tiny.

Bed was comfy.

Room was cold. Had to make own bed. Teeny, tiny room - lucky we were only staying 1 night. Adjoining room had shared door and keyhole was not blocked off - could clearly hear couple in the next room. Breakfast room only had 3 tables and guests were queuing. No bread for toast. Apples were manky. Overpriced!

Lovely cosy little hotel, only 2 blocks from Paddington station and bus stops. Breakfast was plentiful and the beds soft and comfy. Friendly staff, any problems attended to immediately. Lots of good TV channels.

Honestly, I can't think of anything that I didn't like. Just remember that this is a 2-star hotel so keep your expectations reasonable.

Customer service was terrible, internet did not work. Paid 6pounds for 3hours and no refund was offered or compensation internet usage.

I found the bed comfortable, clean linen and towels. En suite facilities also clean with plenty hot water. Flat screen TV with remote provided upon check-in. Pretty decent for what I paid.

If you're breakfast experience is vitally important in an overnight stay then I suggest this hotel is not for you. I don't mind the basic food, but the room was tiny with only three small tables. I had to stand up eating mine. If you are lucky enough to get seated then the sight of many others turning up would likely make you feel uncomfortable and rushed, not a relaxing start to a working day. Great up until then.

The rooms were very small but cosy. Althought room items were not brand new one can't grumble if u have clean sheets, shower and room, a fridge , safe an tv for £35 which is the bargain we got it for! The heating was put on at 7pm an it was beautifully warm all nite which is a temperature I like. 24 hr door staff which is helpful re security. Sometimes they didn't smile but I don't think I smile as much at night when I'm working either ! Didn't opt for breakfast that was included in the cost as well but all round very positive budget 2 star

Had id on me but would have been difficult if I hadn't . Remember your passport or driving licence .

Location is great. However, as with many hotels in london these days, dragging suitcases up 3 or 4 flights of stairs is not a welcome feature.

The breakfast room is a joke considering there are around 25 rooms, you can fit 5 people in the breakfast room. Better option is not to offer breakfast at all. I went outside and had a fine breakfast for around 4 pounds....well worth the effort.

The attention of the staff and the equipment of the room, all excellent, thank you very much.

The price is fairly reasonable, excellent location close to Hyde Park. Breakfast was ok, cornflakes, milk, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, orange juice, tea, coffee.

The room was very small, without a window situated in the basement. It also had a door to the next room and we could even hear our neighbour breathing during a night.

The unfriendly staff .and not so comfortable bed the condition of the hotel.I Got charged an extra 20 Pound for what they said I had made the sheets dirty.almost as much as the Hotel Room Costs, I think these are just hidden charges,so make sure to check everything when you enter the room and also leave the room as you found it don t dirty anything otherwise they charge you for the Cleaning.

Nice neighbourhood near Paddington. Close to central London but more relaxed.

The whole hotell was lika a cubby-hole. We lived on the top floor (4th) and it was 80 steps up to the roon in a stair that became more narrow for each floor. If we have had to evacuate real quick there probably would have been problem. Didn't feel safe at all. The room was very very small. 2 beds and 40 cm between them. 2 people had problem being in the room at the same time if not 1 stayed in bed. It was clean alright and the staff was ok but nor particyulary friendly.

Breakfast could have had more variety. Hotel more than adequate for our stay

Good location

When I looked in the internet, it said there that it has gone down upto 70% off, but when we arrived in the hotel, the amount I have paid is just the amount people should pay!! It is a scam type of promotion! There is a door between my room and other guest's room! I can hear them having sex and whisphering! In short! My partner and I did not sleep very well because of the noise!
