At least They let me change rooms because of the noise, but the new rooms was just as noisy... Terrible bar downstairs.. The music and shouts can be heard as If you are sleeping in it. I moved rooms to one further away from the bar, but the people all around me were incredibly noisy. Shouting about 'getting the coke out' etc.. Then when they got back in after a night on the town, they tried to get into my room at about 4am. I heard one asking his friend 'who is in this room?', As he tried his keys in my door. His friend replied he didnt know who was in here. What kind of people try to get into other peoples hotel room at 4am? Disgusting people.. Not the hotels fault as such, but they really could have at least tried to shut them up. As for the bar, that is the hotels fault, and its terrible. I know it was the f a Cup weekend, but that's no excuse for making everyone else suffer. Recommended for deaf, fat lager louts only.

My parents were staying at the hotel, they were extremely disappointed by the disyurbed sleep they received from the stag dos taking place the same weekend. They would have coped with that but then to be confronted by naked pictures of women on the table - totally unacceptable. There was no apology from the hotel staff or offer of refund. Would not recommend to anyone wanting a quiet break.

Friendly & helpful staff, we had B&B - hearty breakfast with good choice. Clean & roomy facilities. Good atmosphere - we were surprised to see so many at breakfast as noise levels didn't indicate this number of clients being in hotel!

poor parking, i wanted breakfast early at 0700 as i had to be onsite at ringwood by 0800 but was told its only served from 0830 to 0930 so i had to miss it, i asked if they could serve it at 0700 and was told no. so i had to go without even though it was included.

A great location close to the town centre and sea front. The staff were friendly, the room spacious for a single size and comfortable. The temperature could be easily controlled. There were plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. The room decor and furniture was a bit dated but the ensuite was clean, bright and modern. The brekfast time started fairly late (0830) so anyone staying there for work or business would probably not get it. My room was on the ground floor and the door fairly thin. I could clearly hear any talking outside but luckily there wasn't much noice during my stay. Having said this it was good value and i'm not complaining for the price.

I am not happy with the hotel as I chose this hotel over another one as it came with included breakfast. The problem with this hotel is breakfast doesnt start till 8.30am which is a joke. What kind of time is that. That must be how they save on money as no one would be able to go at that time. I had to leave on business every morning at 0800 so had to by breakfast out which is bad when breakfast should be supplied at a reasonable time like other hotels. I have stayed in many many hotels on business and this hotel has really made me angry as of the stupid breakfast times, Ive never known a hotel like it and will not be staying again. They should advertise there breakfast timings in the hotel description as I would have never stayed there in the first place..................

The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A £10 charge for bringing a dog was added on which we weren't made aware of at the time of booking. After discussion when we arrived this was deducted. However, it still left the feeling that it was a "try on". Had the charge been notified at the time of booking, this wouldn't have been a problem and we would have made our decision based on that. (We would probably still have booked the hotel as the charge seemed reasonable. However, what isn't reasonable is not notifying it and then adding it on when you come to pay.) Also, beds much too soft and bouncy - felt like you were going to be tipped out of bed when you turned over. Breakfast also very "basic" (with no vegetarian cooked option – other than not having sausages and bacon!). Don't want this to detract, however, from what was a very pleasant stay.

I enjoyed a friendly welcome at the Glendevon Hotel and really enjoyed it's proximity to the High Street (10 mins walking distance). It has a traditional, British "feel" and I had a pleasant - though brief - stay.

The staff was warm and friendly from the start... After looking on the website before booking and saw that the rooms looks lovely, so as you can imagine we were very disappointed upon checking in we were placed in the broom cupboard size room. We also found out that the rate you pay is per person and not for the room. Which we found hard to swallow, especially when there are bigger rooms on site. Not only that the TV didn't work, nor did the lights or the fan in the bathroom. If i'm to stay there again i wont be paying the the amount i did for that kind of room.

Rooms are basic but clean. The bathroom was big, clean and in good working order. The check out time of 10:00am is a little to early.
