The breakfast. Staff very pleasant.
Bed extremely uncomfortable. Hideous pillows. Shower room tiny. Shower attachment fixed and poor. Room badly needs updating. Bad telly signal.
sea view breakfast clean
lots of stairs no lift bit dated
Location good. Good staff. Good choice for breakfast
Parking could be difficult at peak season. Garden room was a bit chilly (first time room used). Couldn't get wi-fi in room. Open plan bedroom and bathroom a little strange.
My son stayed with you for 2 days and said it was really nice the owner was very friendly and would stay again .
Friendly, helpful, gave directions
Missed out on breakfast and cream tea
Allowed us to check in 5 hours early with no hassle Very safe accommodation
Window latch was a bit loose and would open in the night Boiler in room above would wake us up
all staff cleanliness customer service breakfast
The view from the room, the comfort level of the room, including plenty of tea, coffee, etc. and the hearty breakfast. Great location for the Pavillion theatre.
The shower cubicle grouting. The staircase décor. Dirty white table top in the room.
Food excellent full English or whatever you require would recommend to anyone looking for comfort and relaxation holiday to give them a try 10/10
Didn't dislike anything no negatives
We were late arriving and the welcome was very warm and friendly, getting us settled in quickly. The accommodation was very spacious, clean and they had supplied a good quality travel cot for our 4 month old. We found all the staff very friendly. Parking was easy and we had a space within 10 meters of the front door. The beds were comfy and the food was good we would definitely return.
Wonderful breakfast outside in the morning, very welcoming when checking in, great location, easy to get to.
Views stunning Excellant Location Good customer service from staff
Bed in Suite could do with updating.
cycles were secured
Our rooms were at the very top of the house.
I love the location close to shops and very nice place to stay in and the owners were reallt nice and helpful.
The signal on the tv was poor. There was some crack in the bathroom top and bottom.
Lovely greeting from the staff. Lovely sea view. Clean and comfortable rooms. Free wifi. Awesome breakfast and really helpful and chatty staff.
The rain ;-)
staff were polite and willing to help especially penny`s daughter and the always smiling waitress who was also very helpful, would highly recommend
I liked the location.I liked the atmosphere (cosy, family-friendly one)
I didn't liked the room, i mean it was at level -1 and it was pretty cold. There was no good quality of the TV signal too.
All good, breakfast lovely
Good breakfast, made to order.
Hotel was unaware of the internet rate/price. I found this rather embarrassing when asked to pay £35 more. However, when I showed my booking confirmation there was no fuss they gave me the price I expected to pay.
Great location with wonderful views. Tasty breakfast and very friendly staff.
City view - read dumpster view Very dark small room Dirty walls Very old furniture
Easy access. Smiling staff. Big windows for Sea view.
Carpet was not v clean and was not vacumed during service. There was iron burns on carpet. A lot of dirt between radiators and walls. Breakfast was not that good; definitely not 4 star.
Excellent location with parking nearby. Very good breakfast. Staff couldn't have been friendlier.
Décor could do with updating and the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. Fine for a one night stay but you'd definitely feel claustrophobic if you stayed any longer. No lift although there are a some ground floor rooms, however the breakfast room is in the basement therefore not very disabled or elderly friendly.
Value for money professional, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff Fantastic breakfast lovely room
due to home circumstances, we were not able to arrive until after 10pm. We actually live in Southend but have elderly relative staying with us so cannot go far. This was our 1st night away in our 8 yrs together and we loved it. Owners are just lovely, called us a cab in the morning, chased it up when it was on a go slow. Definitely going back in a few weeks. This is a beautiful guesthouse. We had the Estuary Suite, just gorgeous and the views are fantastic
nothing to dislike!
