A fantastic place for a nice relaxing few days away. Set in a very peaceful location, the hotel is beautifully clean, comfortable, cosy and modern whilst still retaining its charm & character. There are a couple of real log fires in the lounge/restaurant area. The food was excellent and the hospitality of the staff exceptional. They really make you feel welcome. I was even allowed to bring my hamster! I’d highly recommend this hotel, it’s in a beautiful area and just a lovely place to stay.

It was lovely to come back to a real fire after a day of walking. The bar area could have been made a little more cosy. However, we were happy sitting beside the fire in the restaurant. Overall a great night away.
