Room clean and beds comfortable. Full Irish breakfast, cooked to order. Free parking. Some view of the ocean from our room on 2nd storey.
Rather isolated - 5km from Ballycastle town. Toilet and bathroom basic, with linoleum floor. Pub and restaurant closed when we were there in November. Poor internet access.
Hostess was terrific and breakfast was delicious.
Decor and carpet need an update
Everything was great
Large spacious rooms
Towels were hard and smaller in size than most motels we have stayed in. They charged a 3% credit card fee on payment. I wish that was mentioned on the Booking.com site.
Efficient with good breakfast in nice location
Fairly pricey for basic comfort b&b
The room was excellent. Clean and tidy. The proprietors were very helpful. The location is a little remote, but consequently very quiet.
The booking confirmation stated that the price included VAT. When I asked for a VAT receipt, the owners said they were not VAT registered. This was an error made by Booking.com which left me unable to re-claim the £30 VAT back. The portions at breakfast were small, but the food was good.
I liked; location. size of room. helpful staff. knowledgeable staff. friendly staff. Quality of breakfast. efficiency of staff. Having Wi-Fi in room. good size shower. good pressure in shower. Not early risers, so easy going hosts who never hurried us in the mornings was appreciated.
We booked a room with seaview. seaview was quite exaggerated. the sea was a little blue spot somewhere on the horizon. it was definitely not what we had paid for. sorry!
Liked our room. Spacious. Good shower. Very clean.
Had to ask for food at breakfast. Prefer self service. A bit mean with food
Before booking we thought we had sea views and glen views to the back. Not so, sea was miles away and just a glimpse. Back had all trees. When we were shown to our room we found the towels were as if they were taken out of washing machine and folded up. The shower room had a hot tank in a cupboard. No lighting over mirrors. When I went to put something in bin in bedroom this had not been emptied from last guest. Next morning we had no electricity (which was not their fault) So our aim was to get out of there asap. Definitely not value for money. We travelled all over Ireland and enjoyed our stay in various hotels and guest houses at a fraction of the cost.
Breakfast was good but flies were on thr fresh fruit.
NoWiYfi in the. Bedroom very weak signal.Bathroom needs to retrofitted and shower cleaned up.
Location Good car parking
-Location, convenient for Ballycastle and Giant's Causeway. -Nice, freshly cooked breakfast. -Welcoming owner.
-Dated furnishings -Creaky bed and creaky stairs -No internet (although it would have been free IF we'd been able to access it) -Having to pre-order breakfast and select breakfast time in advance.
quiet, although on the main coast road. Quite good breakfast. Decent shower room.
No single room rate, so £76 ( then extra 2% for paying by credit card) was a bit extortionate. The previous evening I paid £46 b&b in a 3 star that was so luxurious I was spoilt. Old weird furnishings. No shade on lamp in bathroom, plus socket coming off ceiling, wires showing.
To be told at check out that there was an extra charge for paying on credit card. I'm not sure this is actually legal.
clean nice location bb in great breakfast with good service
Room, breaky was good. Staff friendly and helpful.
Too many home made signs, look unprofessional.
Its very close to the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, and Giants Causeway. No need to get up super early to beat the crowds. The Irish breakfast was lovely.
Friendly staff and great views
Little pressure in shower . Fry up poor but poached eggs excellent
nice house, room is big and warm, very quiet and well located, safe car park, wide menu choice in breakfast, view sea; // bel hotel, grande belle chambre, tapis chaleureux, vue mer, calme et très bien situé, large choix de menu pdj;
warm and not dark in the night in our attic room, but 27°C is not all year in Northern Ireland ! wifi is not working and bathroom is average level; // chaud et trop clair dans notre chambre, mansardée (mais canicule inhabituelle en Ulster) et wifi défaillant, sdb juste bien sans +;
Comfortable B and B convenient for Giant's Causeway and Rope Bridge. The proprietor was friendly and helpful and breakfast was of a reasonable standard.
The B and B was very busy when we were there so at times service seemed a bit rushed and impersonal.
Room clean. Bathroom ok.
Musty smell in room. Whole place needs updating. Stayed in better for lower price. Had to fill in slip for breakfast when we arrived. Would have liked evening meal - lots of external advertising that there was a licensed restaurant but not open. Everything felt a little on the mean side. Would definitely not stay here again.
Perfectly situated easy access to all routes. Need to have car. Nice route for running though hilly ! Very comfortable beds and a good breakfast in the morning
Lounge bit could with being more welcoming but dud the job
The location was excellent
The restaurant was closed & the Wi -Fi did not work
