Glenmoriston Arms Hotel  

From our arrival to the hotel, it's located perfectly just off of Lochness, The owner Ailsa and her husband were extremely welcoming as were all the staff. The rooms were very clean and first class! The food was delicious and the hotel was all round very comfortable, we will definately be going back to stay!

Everything was just as we hoped it would be. Owner,Staff, Food, Accommodation was great. We loved it all.

Everyone made us feel very welcome and even left a honeymoon gift on our bed! It is such a special place nestled in the mountains and so peaceful and quiet. Very Scottish feel to it and very luxurious. Thank you!

The warm friendly welcome that we received when we arrived the cleanliness of the place and how nice and warm it was (it was -3c outside) The food in the restaurant was also very good with a great choice

Staff were excellent, always pleasant and couldn't do enough to help. Food was truly brilliant, both breakfast and evening meal. The room was excellent value with the added bonus of the spa bath just capped it off! Location was ok, just a shame nothing else within 15miles except a little shop. The price of peace and quiet! Just worth a mention, the little touches were brilliant, especially the hidden creme egg!

Not a lot really! If I was being really picky I would say the bedroom could do with freshening up a little, but like I say, that's being really picky!

staff were lovely. Meal was very nice and breakfast excellent. decor was very nice.

It was freezing cold. Even although we had booked in advance the room had not been heated and it had been snowing during the day. Even the dining area and bar area were really cold. Only the lounge for residents which had a wood burner was warm.

This is a superb hotel. I cannot fault it. Excellent clean and comfortable room. Excellent and very friendly staff. Food is amazing and very well presented. Breakfast was top notch. Took a riverside walk just down from the hotel onto the Glenmoristan estate, very pleasant and relaxing. I asked for a romantic welcoming for my partner and got it, we stayed in the four poster room with the spa bath..which was fun. Staff had left chocolates and made a beautiful swan design out of the towels and covered with petals, my girlfriend loved it. Huge choice of whiskies, I loved that. An excellent hotel not to be missed for a stay or an evening meal. A+++++

1. Too little blanket. Im only 1.75m. It couldnt cover me. 2. Very high price compared to other B&B. But no special things can have tht price. 3.the heater Never work.

Very friendly staff. Stayed in the Annex which was well appointed. Dinning room and bar very nice and food excellant

Staff were attentive.

Overpriced. Breakfast consisted of half a pice of sliced sausage, half a piece of black pudding, half a piece of haggis and tinned mushrooms.

The road

The location was perfect and the staff even surprised us with a few gifts for our anniversary when we arrived. Overall I would highly recommend The Glenmoriston Arms to anyone looking for a weekend break.

Really friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere while providing all that was required for our stay. It was a real way inn - felt like a couple eloping in a Dickens novel or something.

Breakfast scrambled eggs were overcooked and too dry. Something all the guests we spoke to mentioned. But that was only a small thing and didn't spoil our stay in the least.

Very good base for traveling to Inverness, Skye, Fort William and even John O'Groats.
