Warm welcome. Car park. Cleanliness. Comfortable bed. Unfortunately we could hear a wedding band playing in the neighbouring hotel. Not something within the Glenmoriston's control of course.

I liked the good room, the very efficient and pleasant staff in the brasserie and the proximity to the railway station which was very important for me. I didn't like the room being in another building and on the ground floor. I felt vulnerable.

It is in a great location, excellent breakfasts, pleasant staff and there is car parking. Having to climb 3 flights of stairs with a heavy suitcase,no one offered to help me. I was given my room number but not told it was on the top floor. If I had known I would have asked for help even though it wasn't offered.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, excellent food. Because hotel is in two buildings, having to go outside to get to the restaurant was a minor inconvenience.

We received a warm welcome and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and I'm glad we payed a little extra to have view of the river as we were also able to watch the comings and goings at Eden Court Theatre on the opposite bank. I'd stay again - it's comfy and so handy for the theatre it would be an ideal spot for a culture break! And we the Aquadome is easily walkable and that's fun for kids. It wasn't the hotel's fault but there was a loud snorer in the room next door which rather spoilt my own night's sleep.

We arrived at night to the hotel, and we were treated very nicely by the staff. After leaving our luggage in our room and a quick wash later, we went back to the main building of the hotel, and were treated to a night cap and a light supper by the night porter. The room was excellent, and we slept very well. In the morning, we enjoyed a superb breakfast in the restaurant, with a lovely view of the river ness. all in all, very good hotel!

I thought the room was overpriced for what it was. The bed was comfortable and the view from the large window was great. The wardrobe was out of place and the side table squeezed into the corner to allow room for the flat screen tv. Perhaps a purpose built unit with a single robe instead of the side table would look better. The toilet was a mismatch with the wood on the corner bath, and the green basket woven small table. The heavy tweed curtains looked a bit x army surplus material. The restaurant was lovely with the furnishings and lighting just right for a special meal. The meal we had was truly special with the food cooked to perfection and as soon as you tasted the food you went wow. The bar was again nice and relaxing except for the toilet door being unmarked. All in all I hope I haven't painted to bad a picture as we had a nice time and would go back but just pay for a normal room.

Comfortable hotel with comfortable rooms. Our room, 31, was a little on the small side but as we were staying just the one night it was not too bad. The rest of the facilities were excellent and the breakfast was first class. The cost of the wine sold by the glass at the bar was a little pricey. £6 for a small glass of white or red wine is what you expect to pay in London not Inverness.

The location on the River Ness is superb. Early eve sunshine glistening on the Ness and later on the bright lights of the Ness walkways, Eden Court Theatre and the Bridge light up the sky. Like being abroad...just soak up the atmosphere!
