Staff, service very helpful. Rooms in the second building adjacent to the hotel were small and not laid out well.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable . Bottles of water were provided free of charge also tea and coffee making facilities were available in the room. Lovely breakfast. Nice lounge to have drinks in although the drinks were a bit on the expensive side. I didn't see a clock nor a phone in our room which would have been handy as we were in another building from the main reception. We did not need to contact the reception desk for anything so it did not spoil our stay.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The rooms were not large, but were comfortable, and they happily moved out some chairs and a table to accommodate a cot for a third person in one of our rooms. The restaurant is superb.

Comfortable, reasonably stylish and well located in an attractive road on the banks of the River Ness. The fuse for a group of rooms including mine tripped during the morning rush - it took around 10mins to restore power which I felt was long.

It was close to the restaurant "Abstract" that we wanted to eat at and drove up especially to go to. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. There were a lot of storage items to walk thru - xtra tables etc. to get to our room which was on the front lower portion of the hotel. The room was very comfortable with great views of the River Ness.

The location was good and the room was comfortable. The staff were friendly and polite. The music was not background at any time. It was self indulgent and totally inappropriate especially in the main restaurant which presumes to be fine dining. The staff seemed incapable or unwilling to listen to the constructive views of the customers. The breakfast food did not match the standard of the bistro or restaurant. The chef didn't seem to know the difference between hard and runny poached eggs.

The service from staff was excellent. They could not do enough for you. The room was comfortable (although a lift would have been great) and really clean. We ate at the hotel which was excellent and again the service was great. Breakfast was good - good selection.

Very good cooking. Great service in restaurant. Fantastic room and comfortable furnishings. Bar service could be improved. During our two night stay both evenings we gave up waiting for table service while sitting in the bar area, and had to go to the bar and order our drinks. I would expect table service for a 4 star hotel.

The views from my superior room were brilliant of the river, Free parking but sure there are other hotels that are friendlier than this with views and parking The Polish waitress in the morning was so rude. She was argueing in the kitchen with another polish person and we could all hear it. Then in the morning at 8:45am she would make me sit at the back of the restaurant not near to the veiws as "You are the last one down and I have to get ready for lunch service" at 8:45am! This meant putting one glass on the table and changing a napkin, the place was dead. She would clean cutlery while people were having breakfast and slamming it down or dropping it on the floor. Not a relaxing breakfast. The rooms have no fridge, and they did not restock tea so I had to ask for it. The bedding was so thin and not at all worth £200 a night not at all. The only member of staff that was helpful was the young Scottish guy who worked night shift, who gave me some travel advice. When I asked on reception about things to do I was told to go to the free flyers in the lobby. I was made to feel uncomfortable for being on my own with comments by the Polish waitress "Oh you are on own again". I travel the world and stay in hotels ranging from 3 star to 5 star. I have staying in hotels in Poland and they were friendlier than the staff at this hotel. The only good point about this place is the view from the room but sure there is a hotel cheaper better service with friendly staff. Just saying snapping good morning does not class as being friendly. Oh and check in is 4pm which is late. Would not stay there again not value for money

The pre theatre dinner was excellent value. They do charge £2.50 for coffee which I feel was a pity as the meal was, apart from that, faultless. Breakfast is exceptional and worth recommending. Staff were delightful and helpful.

It was close to main town...lovely view by the river...would be lovely in the summer.. Only down side ...you have to walk from one part of the hotel to the other for your breakfast..which was a downer in the morning if it was raining or windy ...

Location and ease of access Bedroom was very small accessed on the third floor with no lift or porter service. There was nowhere in the room to put our cases and the lighting was exceedingly poor and reading was only possible lying on the bed. The shower cabinet is so small that there is hardly room to wash oneself and the only mirror (apart from the one above the wash hand basin) was a small dressing table mirror which was totally inadequate. Generally we were exceedingly disappointed by the room facilities and would not recommend this hotel.
