Andy & Julian were perfect hosts , nothing was to much trouble , room was comfortable , complimentary tray in room was well stocked with a variety of drinks and biscuits . very impressed on arrival as he greeted us with a pot of tea and homemade biscuits . fantastic selection for breakfast , excellent presentation with the food , if ever we are in Torquay again , we will definitely stay at Glenross......
cold water tap in ensuite basin was noisy when turned on , fridge in room was alittle noisy as kepted cutting in ....
Good choice of food for breakfast and plenty of it. Room comfortable and clean. Friendly advice on places to visit. A review of local restaurants, very useful. Home baked brownies and tea on arrival very welcoming.
The room was comfortable and clean, host Andy and Julian couldn't have been more helpful, Breakfast was superb, plenty of choice, full English, cereals, fruit and yogurts, it would be difficult to find a better B & B especially after the planned refurbishment this winter. The walk into town is on the level, railway station only 10 minutes walk away and the weather the week we went was superb. What more could you want.
Julian and Andy made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely food and room. Will definitely be going back.
The host's where very accommodating.
Everything; location, accomodation Great choice at breakfast Andy's home made coconut yoghurt Comfortable, clean and well equipped rooms Spotless throughout Friendly, personable host
TV signal needs sorting out.
Nice place, close to the town centre, own parking, tea and brownies by arrival, lovely room,
Unfortunately is the house close to a crossroad and from our room you could here the noise from the cars.
Clean Comfortable Parking Fridge TV Friendly Breakfast
Everything about Glenross was perfect, from the facilities to the breakfasts. Our room was extremely comfortable, very clean and just lovely. Would definitely recommend to our friends and if circumstances allow would come back again.
There wasn't anything to dislike at all.
My husband and a spent our 45th wedding anniversary at glenross, we have to say it is the best B/B we have ever stayed at. The owners are a delight. Rooms spotless. breakfast 5*
Room was very comfortable and I had the best night sleep in a very long time, everything was spotlessly clean and our hosts fantastic and went out of their way for you. Breakfast was cooked to order with a choice and I can not fault it.
Very good service
A very enjoyable stay. What did we like.? Everything.! The location, room, breakfast and the friendly, very helpful, owners.!
The owner seeing we was tired after a 5 hour drive brought tea scones and cream up to our room it was a nice touch
The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was exceptionally good.Selection was very impressive. Television in room. Car parking on premisses.
Shower a little on the small side.
Location: Very easy to find Quality: Good rooms/ cleanliness excellent/ range of options at breakfast/ best bed I have ever slept in on holiday. Proprietors: welcoming and easy to approach. The cream tea on arrival was lovely. Facilities: no bar (I'm glad to say)/ supply of tea etc. in room was more than we needed. Small fridge in room to keep milk etc. was a nice touch. Overall: An excellent example of how to run a small guest house without any fuss. We came and went as we pleased and only saw the proprietors when they were needed. Rating: 9.5/10 (no-one is perfect!).
Having to leave!!!!!
We were made to feel very welcome from arriving to departing 3 nights later. The whole experience was lovely and i would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone and also it is only 10 minutes walk to the waterfront.
Everything, warm welcome, lovely clean room, staff helpful
Nothing all good
Everything. Room was beautiful and had a fridge, spotlessly clean and large. Bed linen & towels luxurious. Bath and shower in en suite. Breakfasts delicious with huge choices. Wish we had time to stay here again, as we are from Australia.
Not a single thing, thank you so much
Devon cream tea on arrival
The walk to the town
Excellent breakfast and comfortable accommodation.
Noise from gulls at night!
Easy to find. Close to Torquay. Lovely atmosphere and made very welcome. Would stay there again.
everything what a wonderfull couple and a lovley house
Friendly welcoming attentive and informative A really nice couple
The scones on arrival are lovely, the service is 5 star. I only mentioned about decaf tea on the the first day and extra decaf tea bags were made available the next day, also received a call on traffic condition on the day, which I was quite impressed! Definitely recommend.
