Good parking. Breakfast room.
No lift. Narrow steep stairs. No porter service offered. I'm 72.
Staff, location, food
Bedrooms dated, beds not so good, decor and paint could do with refreshing as could the furniture and bathrooms
Not being familiar with London transport the location made travelling into town easy. Breakfast was good. Good value for money
Lovely room and comfy bed. Good staff in reception and bar.
Location, short walk from Northern Line Tube. Large comfortable bed, good all round breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Good value for money
Some pillows were a little hard, rooms very warm although all radiators had ability to turn up or down.
This place has a really good score, I am not sure why. It wasn't the worse but it certainly was far from faultless. What I did like was the bed, extremely comfortable so top marks for that.
The whole place is 3-4 houses knocked together, it's generally very clean. However it is tired, the bedrooms have woodchip wallpaper, in my room it was peeling off. Worse, my room had a pretty horrible smell, don't know what it was, might have been cleaning materials but it was unpleasant and lingered throughout my stay. The place wasn't bad but I didn't feel particularly comfortable.
The location is good for Finchley but not for trains to London as there is no station in walking distance.
To be honest the sausages at breakfast were like cardboard and cheap. Otherwise everything else was fine.
WiFi was not great
Very good service at breakfast, good parking and staff very friendly
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom are very clean. The underground station is 5 minutes walking distance.
Excellent location to access A1 and then easy stroll to station for the Tube. Parking outside. Superb buffet breakfast and pleasant dining room looking onto the garden. Clean room and ensuite. Pleasant staff. We would come here again.
The staff are always friendly and most helpful and the rooms are nicely furnished. Breakfast is plentiful and always piping hot. Large range of restaurants and a Sainsburys within easy walking distance.
Very minor point - additional shelving in the bathrooms for toiletries etc would be beneficial.
Everything to like no issues would 100% stay again
Nothing to dislike would definitely stay again
The location was ideal, hotel comfortable delicious breakfast and enjoyed a Thai meal in a restaurant just across the road.
Nice quiet place to stay, bar was very handy.
Breakfast was a bit basic, not much choice.
We were given an apartment rather than the double room we had booked. WOW what a place to stay for the price. Could not believe the size of the accommodation. Very close to Underground as well.
The breakfast was only OK. I'm not a great fan of buffet breakfasts. Freshly cooked would have been better but this is only a minor point.
24 hour desk. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Near Woodside Park station and local shops.
Close to alexandra palace.very nice and friendly staff.
The breakfast and staff were great. Lots of variety of foods.the staff were cheerful and helpful! Warm rooms, good bathrooms with Eveything we needed. Great for a one night break away. Great 24hr reception and the car park was a major help to us from travelling.
Our bed was uncomfortable for us, and our main light did not work. However there were enough other lights around the room not to notice it. That is the ONLY thing as a negative. The hotel was great location and just what we needed!
Staff was first rate. I left a package in the room, and they mailed it to the US for me.
It was a little farther than I anticipated to the tube. Not unreasonably far though.
The Glenlyn is perfect,I have stayed in some nice hotels and this guest house is up there with them, the staff were all very helpful, reception arranged a taxi to take us to alley pally and a call to the glenlyn for my return journey was arranged promptly so it was perfect, value for money ,comfort , good wifi and excellent shopping locally plenty restaurants around the corner
There was nothing to not like
The breakfast was better than average. Although coffee tasted muddy but I did ask for it to be strong- and I am fussy. It is relatively inexpensive. It is not far from a tube. You can park the car
It was a bit faded and jaded- not helped by cheap fittings and old 1940s furniture. No help offered with luggage and vague directions to the room location. Awful carpets
Convenient for our needs. Staff very good .hotel feels a bit dated and could do with an upgrade
The room was clean, bed really comfortable and the breakfast room + breakfast were lovely :-)
Interior + bathroom needed updating
