excellent service and good value for money

Perfect location for those not wishing to stay in Central London. Tube station short walk away, Glenlyn has plenty of car parking space. Staff very friendly, would book to stay again.

I had an overall negative experience in this hotel. Some of the points below are my fault, and some are not. Read and make your own opinion. I arrived with my family really tired after two hours of carrying my luggage in London's peak traffic hour across the Underground Tube from one line to the other to get the hotel only to find that earliest check-in is at 1:30 pm. They did let us in earlier than that but only after 90 minutes in the common room where my 1 year old daughter made a circus of the room. The room was in the second floor so I had to carry my luggage on my back two stories up on a narrow stairs with no one to help out. The room was not a rooms at all. It was an attic. Low ceilings that forced me to stay hunched all my stay. Lost spaces in the corners, and no ac (air conditioning system) To my disappointment, the shower head was not movable or flexible so I had to use the kettle to give my 1 daughter her shower. The washing basin had two tabs. One for hot and one for cold. You cannot get warm running water !! Either freezing cold or scolding hot I was told that this is traditional in the uk. Knowing this did not comfort me at all. I quickly curtailed my visit, made a booking in another hotel, and stayed the minimum number of nights possible To be fair, It was probably my fault that I didn't check how far is the hotel from central London.

There was nothing about our stay that would give us reason to complain. The location suited us greatly and the guest house was a fabulous experience. Very comfy bed and delicious breakfast. We will book with you if when we return to London.

It was in the location we wanted and was able to park my car right outside.

One of very few hotels to actually comply with the simple request for soft pillows - full marks. Excellent breakfast and always very helpful staff. For our purposes the position was spot on. Will always return to Glenlyn if going to Finchley area

Just needs a bit of refurbishing in places. Getting a bit worn. Wouldn't stop me going there though.

It was all just as good and convenient as it was the last time I stayed there in March 2012. I would come back again.

was clean and friendly

carpets a bit old. also did not like the first bedroom offered, it was small and dark. we were allowed to change to another one after stating this. The bathroom door on bedroom 29 that we were given would not close.

friendly staff. nice room. excellent breakfast. given the very good quality of accommodation and location it was excellent value for money. we would definitely stay there again.

the duvet had seen better days, there were lumps of filling in some patches and none in other patches. the room could do with a full length mirror.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast selection. Parking right outside front of building. We were allowed to leave our car there after checking out as we wanted to catch the local tube into London.

Our toilet was blocked on arrival, but not too much of an issue for us as we were only staying for one night and were out for most of the stay - used the loo near reception instead. I'm sure it would have been sorted if we'd been staying for longer.

Neighbourhood secure and quiet. Very nice appartment. Friendly personnel. Nice price, too.

We stayed in the loft appartment on the 3rd storey. Climbing there through a narrow staircase is not so easy, if you are 60. Luckily we had to do it only twice a day. The place is far from the city centre, so you spend a lot of time in the tube.

With the outside temperature of around 3 degrees the heating was switched off during the day we came back to a very cold room at around mid day. When we complained all they said was sorry. Small bathroom leaky shower
