First class hotel, with excellent staff, dinner to be recommended as was the breakfast will definitely be returning next year.
Lovely cosy countryside hotel with FAB views.
Dinner meat portions was almost non existence. Food was lovely but not value for money.
large room with a small but very nice and modern bathroom, perfect breakfast in a perfect room, well-kept and homly garden, Ian is a perfect host
The style of Glenspean lodge is very british, charming old fashioned style and its location is very good for chill-out breaks because of its quietness.
The first sign we saw on our way out of Speanbridge was hidden in the forest, so it was not easy to find the way to the hotel. And the breakfast-buffet is workable, but needs a push up.
Location and views from room Service Food Value Good parking
Cant think of anything
Well mantained hotel in nice peaceful setting. Bedroom and public areas very clean and comfortable. We dined in the restaurant and the food was well presented and of a high standard. The staff were excellent and very welcoming. Will pay a return visit.
Staff were excellent, friendly & welcoming, great service. Food was really great.

Further away from Ft. Williams than we expected. Food was good but not as good as the other hotels we stayed at.

Hospitality, location, comfort, character.
Wifi not great, but not a big deal.
Location, cleanliness, superb standard of decor, friendly & welcoming proprietors & staff.
Lovely, friendly staff and owners Great location Good food
It was chilly in the restaurant and bar There was nowhere to put your clothes in the bedroom (one wardrobe with hanging rail but no shelves) No drawers
Glenspean Lodge was an excellent find. It is a classic late 19th century hunting lodge converted into a lovely boutique hotel. Ian and the staff are wonderfully staid, but very charming and helpful. The rooms (our 19 year old son and 22 year old daughter were with us and they too approve highly) are very comfortable. The bar area is appropriately stocked and staffed, as is the in-house restaurant. Food and beverage are top rate. Breakfasts are individually prepared and quite good. The views from our rooms were stellar. Views from the front and side terraces, fantastic. They alone are worth the modest price of admission. As a whole the Lodge is a great Highland retreat. If and when we are back, my wife and I will make a point of returning to the Glenspean Lodge Hotel.
We saw freshness and classic in one hotel. Very clean, cozy and quite rooms. Common areas with plenty of vintage objects and old good fireplace with bookshelves and games nearby. We felt as if we were in somebody's house, not a hotel. Nice staff and fair breakfast breakfast. Unfortunately we had no time to use sauna and gym.
Braveheart suite was perfect combination of traditional comfort and modern tech. Hugh gorgeous bed, dreamt beautiful dreams.
Ask for bubbly bath from reception before you run the 2 person bath:)
The gardens and building was well maintained and offered quality service and cuisine. The staff were friendly and only too happy to cater for individual needs Felt like we were in the highlands great views.
Fantastic location Great food and very friendly and very well run Perfect
Great attention by staff to even the smallest details. Lovely surroundings and interesting internal decor to look at (photos, accessories etc). Tasty food with good portion sizes. Fan appreciated.
Friendly welcome, excellent choice of meals in dining room or bar, very peaceful in an immaculate garden setting overlooking mountains,
No lift. Standard room was short of hanging space.
The house furniture, the facilities, the view is great, the rooms are very cosy, the dinning a d reading rooms very, very cosy! Quiet place!
We were eating vegan and there was not much flexibility with breakfast options - poor quality breakfast We arrived very late and although we called at noon to announce our late arrival around 10, I got an ok. But because we had a car problem we called to say we will be even later and the answer we got was: after 10 o clock there is nobody here awake to open the door for you so you should look for another accomidation because we do not receive you anymore! After insisti g because e erything else was full and we had o e of our friend pregnant finnaly they agreed to wait for us and advised us to drive faster!!! Finnaly there was someone to wait for us at midnight when we got there! The price I felt too high for the values of the services we received...
The grounds on approach are spectacular. The rooms are well maintained & large. The restaurant is superb & the staff couldn't be more helpful. We saw this online & thought we'd try it, but we're so impressed we'll definitely be back.
