Ian our host gave us a warm welcome. Lodge is lovely & cozy. Rooms just a bit dated but very clean & comfortable nonetheless. Good location for driving to many options in the area. Very much enjoyed our stay.

The cleanliness of this hotel was outstanding. We chose the hotel on location only to split our journey but could and will stay longer in the future. The Glenspean Lodge is highly recommended.

It's a perfect place to both a short break and extended holiday. You can enjoy a wide range of activities in the stunning scenery of the Highlands, and return after that to a warm, relaxing and very comfortable environment of the hotel. The place is run in a very professional way by a couple of proprietors who create a cosy atmosphere, being at the same very attentive to all your needs and requests.

The Glenspean Lodge was beautiful and in a gorgeous location. The proprietors were super friendly and helpful. I would have loved to have screens on the windows though to be able to enjoy the air at night. I would definitely stay there again if I ever get back to the Highlands..........

Ian & Suzanne who run the Glenspean could not have been more accommodating. They work tirelessly to ensure all parts of your stay are enjoyed. The great food, both for breakfast and evening meal was always served in a timely fashion and with a smile. The room was clean and fresh as were the hallways and all other areas. A nice touch was the games room, little gym and whirlpool spa, which was great after a day up Ben Nevis. We look forward to returning next year!

We loved the location, the menu / food, the friendliness of the management / staff and the facilities. Our room was short on clothes drawers / storage. OK for one night but we wanted to unpack a bit more.

The Glenspean Lodge is a beautiful hotel in lovely surroundings. Restaurant, bar, bedroom and and all other areas within the hotel are spotless. Meals are first class but make sure you are hungary before you sit down in the restaurant. We both had the steak and were unable to finish half of what they had given us it was huge. The only thing we didn't like about the hotel was there is no atmosphere. After our dinner we retired to the bar area for a small drink. There was no back ground music, the manager who was also the receptionist, porter, waiter and barman appeared every 2 minutes and asked if everything was okay. That was fine but the only disappointing part of the stay was it felt like we were sitting in a doctors surgery. After a couple of drinks went to our bed early.

Nothing !!!!!! We don't understand why is so well rated. We have been all around the country and this hotel has been the most dreadful experience of our trip. An absurd amount of money for very little in return. The owner was quite an unpleasant character, the hotel has seen better times. We had food at the bar because the restaurant was empty and wanted to stay in a warmer atmosphere but dirty trables, dirty glasses, terrible food spoiled our evening totally. We had "haggis" all aorunD scotland and usually was excellent, here was disgraceful, cold and probably cooked a few days before. The beef, for which Scotland is famous, was hard like the sole of my shoes. I ordered a £ 40 bottle of red spanish wine, they brought the bottle open at the table and never passed into their mind that maybe we would have liked to taste it. Anyway, bed was comfortable, breakfast again poor and bad quality. In the end after paying £ 255 for one night and a dinner for two, we left with a very bad memory fo this place which spoiled my opinion of Scotland. - for Italians: lasciate perdere, e' un furto legalizzato, cibo pessimo e soldi sprecati. Yes. All of it. Spend your money for a tent, at least you can use it again. Or in fuel and drive on until you find another place. for Italians: LASCIATE PERDERE, E' UN FURTO LEGALIZZATO, CIBO PESSIMO E SOLDI SPRECATI.
