We had a very friendly, warm reception when we arrived. All staff were helpful, without being fussy or intrusive. Excellent, homemade food and some nice, personal touches - homemade sponge or biscuits to have with tea when returning after a day out. We liked our room and enjoyed a relaxing break.

Excellent for proximity to family, the beauty of Gower and shopping in Swansea. The staff were helpful and the breakfasts were good. The decor was very tired - whole place badly in need of decoration. The shower was a trickle and the bed had obviously seen better days.

Old Victorian building with both rooms decorated nicely and bathrooms clean. Breakfast was in the basement/kitchen which was quirky but very nice.

The genuine friendliness and sincerity of the hosts/proprietors nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was excellent and the room a dream come true. It was hard not to want to stay in it all the time. Without question would recommend no doubt to our disadvantage because the Guest House would then be fully booked! Had lovely scenery and local attractions not to mention a lovely dog. Other clients were warm and friendly

Frendly and helpful owners who gave us a warm welcome and made us feel special visitors. Delicious breakfasts, cooked to order overlooking the garden. Some people would find the parking a challenge, but the owners are happy to assist.

very welcoming staff at this guest house. Ready to answer enquiries and offer advice on local amenities. we left the car in the car park and didn't use the car again until we had to leave as we could walk to the beautiful beach and to the Mumbles shops and bay. Lovely view from the room. car parking was limited.

We had a great stay in this house for the weekend. The lady that ran it was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with some great home made bread. Lots of reviews complaining about car parking, but no problems for us. Well worth a visit, we will be going back.

Had a good stay and enjoyed the location. Staff where very chaty and polite, and helpful. The parking was not good and exiting was very difficult and a bit of a blind spot it was on a bend and could not see traffic coming up the hill.

The Victorian House was a beautifully presented accommodation. The rooms were impeccable, all equipped with tv [if one desired] and coffee/tea facilities and fridge. The staff were very friendly and easily located if needed. The Glenview is within 5 mins of The Mumbles beach [on foot] and from the town. I would return and recommend to friends and family. Minor points, and easily addressed: the vegetarian option for breakfast, in theory, is fine. But, in practice, the vegetarian sausages were overcooked. Might be an idea to have, on the website, it mentioned that cards not taken at the beaches and no cashpoints unless you head into town.

Lovely room in a lovely house in a lovely location. Glenview is ideally located to walk into The Mumbles and to the beach. Accomodation was spotlessly clean, breakfast was superb. Thank you! Parking can be tricky but no real problem. Website states - 'All the bedrooms overlook our garden and Underhill Park which is bordered by woods.' Our room overlooked the car park but again no real problem.

Friendly staff, excellent location and a good price. Really comfortable bed and great breakfast using locally sourced meat - very tasty. Room was a little small and the shower varied in temperature. Car parking was a little restricted when the hotel was full.

Glenview is a beautiful place to stay within easy walking distance to town and beaches. Our host was very friendly and provided us with walking maps and useful information to find our way around town. The rooms are lovely and spacious and we were provided with everything we might need including a bar fridge. The beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.
