All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. It was a useful location to us attending a family wedding. Breakfast was available although we did not take up the offer preferring a lie in instead. We would certainly stay at the Glenwood Hotel again if we needed a base in that location. I remember Margate back in it's heyday as a child 40 odd years ago. I could not recommend it as a tourist spot now. But I would recommend the Glenwood.

The staff were always helpfull and friendly, the room I was given was at the rear of the hotel so I didn't hear any noise at all, I feel it was value for money, I would stay there again. The wasn't anything I didn't like about this hotel.

I found the staff friendly and helpful. The facilities were value for money. The Hotel was conveniently situated for the town and beach. I would have preferred on site parking and not in the street, as I was travelling alone, but there was adequate street parking, with CCTV outside the Hotel.

Everything The room I had was cramped and very dirty and had a nasty smell which I took home with me, in my belongings. As I walked through the reception to my room there was a patch work of floor coverings and a musty smell. Wasn't even escorted to my room.....

1, room was to hot due to the window not being able to open. 2, net curtain did not fit the width of the window (a foot gap) privacy not the best when overseen by opposite blocks. 3, shower head useless 4, bed had major dip in the middle 5, carpet not very clean 6, £70 for one night without breakfast is very poor.
