The room was clean, the whole building very tired & worn , needs a lot of money spent on it !
Naomi was a very helpful lady she offered us a lift to the local pub which was very kind of her , very friendly & helpful !
Unfortunately the lady on the reception desk when we arrived was not so pleasant, kept talking over me which is found very frustrating.

Lovely small, vibrant town with a good atmosphere, plenty of places to eat and drink and small independent shops. Nice local history too with the Crickhowell Bridge and the ruins of the castle in town as well as being surrounded by beautiful countryside.

The Bear is very central in a delightful little town.
The Bear is very central in a delightful little town. Ample parking. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was very comfortable. The staff were outstanding. It was a well.motivated trained happy team. Always busy with guests and locals but it ran very smoothly
The hotel is in a really nice location, with great views to the ridge across the valley. They were very dog friendly. The dinner service and food was excellent; all of the courses were very tasty, if a little expensive. Room service for drinks and food was excellent. The bed was large and comfortable. The gym, whilst a little dated, is well equipped and they were running a good booking system to manage numbers. There is plenty of parking, and some outdoor space you can sit and enjoy the view.
This cottage was the perfect getaway we needed. The cottage had everything we needed and more. Great distance to all the places we wanted to explore in Wales, nowhere seemed too far away, Cardiff, Beacons and so much more. The perfect base for exploring and after a long day out, Crickhowell had the most wonderful choice of pubs on your doorstep.
Not that I wanted too but had to spend one morning working. Had the perfect set up in the dining room with Wi-Fi.
The Barn is a very nice cottage, very quiet. There is a big kitchen , on the first floor two bedrooms and a bathroom. Behind the cottage is a small terrace for a nice breakfast in morning sun. In front of the cottage you can enjoy the evening sun. The Barn is located between Crickhowell and Abergavenney. From here it is easy to explore the Brecon Beacons, Wye valley or Usk valley
The staff were excellent! I bought a little dog and they were very welcoming and allowed her to come with us for dinner and breakfast sitting in the bar. Very dog friendly. A very pretty hotel and I thought the flowers and plants were well looked after and beautiful.
very warm welcome, clean and nice room, generous (more than a continental) breakfast. We stayed in a room above the Pub space and it was not a nuisance at all. a short walk into Crickhowell. ideal to explore the beautiful National Park. Def recommend it.
A beautiful, quaint little cottage, full of character. Small, but well equipped with everything we needed for our weekend stay. Location is excellent, just off the high street in pretty Crickhowell. The nearby private parking space was invaluable.
Excellent location in the centre of the lovely town of Crickhowell. Walking distance to all the local shops, pubs and cafes. Ideal apartment as a base for a weekend walking in the surrounding area...and dog friendly too!
Perfect place to 'break' a journey to West Wales. Hotel well-situated,room very comfortable, staff pleasant and welcoming, excellent nights' sleep. Our car modestly-sized so access to very useful car park not a problem !
A lovely little hotel situated a in beautiful rural area in Wales. Plenty of little or long walks in the beautiful countryside, depending on what you fancy. The staff were attentive and friendly and the food was amazing.
Excellent location in centre of Crickhowell. Olde worlde hotel full of nooks and crannies. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food in restaurant. Parking on site.
Lovely friendly clean accommodation. Breakfast plentiful with good selection of cereal, fruit, breads etc.... loved the chatty locals in the bar. Fish and chips recommended. Easy, pleasant walk into Crickhowell.
The Studio is perfect accommodation for a couple. It is so close to Crickhowell shops and pubs and most days we walked from the Studio without needing a car.
Self catering but was in the middle of town with plenty of choice of eateries.close to pubs and restaurants.Nearby riverside walks and and boat hire on canal.
The guesthouse was lovely with a pleasant communal sitting room. We walked along the canal to the Horseshoe Inn in Llangattock for a fantastic evening meal.
