Location - in city centre, nerby Tamworth Castle. Friendliness of staff.

Smokers hanging out at the entrance. Weak in-room wi-fi. Loose toilet seat.

We liked everything about it from entertainment to food would stay here every time Very frendly staff as well which is nice to see.

I booked rooms for 3 colleagues and they found the staff helpful and welcoming, the rooms and the breakfasts good. The location was very convenient for the town centre and the rooms were good value. The bar itself was bright and friendly and the evening meals excellent.

One of the rooms was above the function room and there was some noise from below on Friday night. The bar did sometimes get crowded, but if you sat in the dining section this was fine.

It was a really nice pub, close to town. The staff were very nice and friendly, always there to help. The room was very nice and clean. The food / breakfast was excellent. A very comfortable stay

Was what I expected. A large busy town centre pub with accommodation.

Late night disco next door, didnt bother us but may bother some.

I was given the key for a room & when I went there it was being decorated & a total mess. Second possible room wasnt ready either. But the staff resolved the situation quickly. Also no reception so had to check in over the bar in a busy pub

It was clean, friendly and great value for money. I was attending the 40th birthday party of an old friend held in the function room and chose the globe as it was convenient. Basic but nice room and couple running the place seemed friendly. Breakfast next morning was good as well, all in all was really happy with the place and would recommend / stay there again if in the area.

No negatives, I thought because of price and location it would not be that nice, but was actually really good. I read reviews of the castle and chose to stay here instead! One thing is Satnav was not very good at finding it so be careful!

The Globe is a traditional pub woith a small hotel attached. The room was basic, but was very clean and provided a good range of facilities. Free wi-fi was available. Parking is in a council car park adajcent to the hotel, but the hotel will provide a free parking permit on request. In general, the Globe offers a reasonable level of comfort and facilities for travellers on a budget.

I had dinner and breakfast in the pub part of the Globe and I must say that I was not impressed, particularly with a steak that I could not chew. I was also disappointed to find the shower would produce only cold water, even though warm water came out of the hand basin taps.

Have stayed there few times it is great. Location fab price good rooms good and staff very nice.

Stayed three times now.We thought the decor is looking tired on our last visit and our bed springs have raised up and made a good night sleep impossible (we have had the same room on all our stays) looked like same towels for last 3 years and the same loose toilet seat and same leak in shower

Attended neices wedding reception pleasing to find a decent pint of real ale being served Rooms basic but comfortable and warm Breakfast good value for price paid Friendly welcome from staff

My driver who stayed there said that the loud musicwent on till 3 am, could not turn heating down in room could only get sports channels on tv he was driving on the Sunday and was so tired know better in future

Wifi internet access was poor, kept loosing connection, hit and miss.

Centrally located in the heart of Tamworth, a short distance from the train station. Good clean rooms and an excellent breakfast. Inn does reasonably priced pub meals.
