Globe & Crown – RelaxInnz

The location is perfect if you're intending to shop or visit nearby places of interest. We were initially dismayed to learn that a wedding party was staying at the same time, but can honestly say we didn't hear a thing: our ground floor room was spotlessly clean and quiet. Breakfast is simple, as you would expect in a budget hotel - my poached eggs were the best I've ever tasted anywhere, cooked to perfection!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent as was the service. Nothing was too much trouble whatever you asked.

Lots of noise in front rooms from street. Rooms quite small and needs attention to details. redecoration done but somewhat haphazardly. No lampshade for example.

The room we stayed in(22)was terrible, every floorboard creaked and the bed was just a mattress of springs, no comfort at all, we spoke to a couple who went home early as there room was so bad,

When we were allocated our rooms the lady showing us where they were noticed my Mum had mobility difficulty and swapped the room for her so it was on the ground floor and Mum didn't have to go up stairs. This was so very thoughtful and was much appreciated by us. Also the breakfast was really good. And we all loved Dillan!!

When we arrived I informed the barman that I had booked 4 rooms but he could only find a booking for 1 room. It transpired that different members of staff handle the paperwork in a different way. It took quite a while for this to be sorted and another party had arrived behind us and were having to wait for us to be sorted out first before they could check in.

Excellent service from all the staff, very friendly & helpfull. Very good dinner & breakfast even a short cabaret with the dinner very well assisted by the girls !!

It is very basic roomwise, broken window fittings that make the windows difficult to close & a worn out shower, but the beds were comfy, just don't expect luxury. The staffs service & attitude outweigh any negatives tho !

Free Wifi very useful for business people. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Requested a quiet room but got a room with a generator running all night out side the window.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay as it was conveniant for visiting my mum who is in a nursing home in Yeovil. The staff were excellent and the new management staff were outstanding. I would like to thank the chef who made a take away meal for my Mum of Faggots (which she enjoyed) I would recommend the Globe and Crown to anyone who thinking of visiting Yeovil and needs somewhere to stay!!!!!!

Bathroom a little dated and cold. However it was very clean!!

The food in the pub was excellent quality and value and the staff always willing to help. the rooms and bathroom facilities, whilst small, were clean and had everything you needed for a short stay.

The food is excellent and if its not on the menu they will do their best to accommodate you. It is also excellently priced. The staff are all marvellous and willing to go that extra mile.
