The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Also the sauna and the swimming pool are very nice.
Cosy enough but nothing spectacular
Leisure facilities and food were the best features.
Teenager staying in rooms on same floor running around corridors at 1.30 am, had to get manager to sort out as my partner was threatened by them. Not sure why they weren't spotted on security cameras...
we were very impressed by the high standards and the friendly staff. we stayed on Christmas eve and saw the restaurants all beautifully set up for Christmas day , we had a lovely meal in the carvery and next morning we had a wonderful choice of both hot and cold breakfast which was a feast , this hotel is family owned and their pride in it shows throughout every area and when the staff are happy that speaks volumes , I would definitely stay there again and wish them a prosperous new year
Fantastic value for money. Great facilities, breakfast was brilliant. Loads to choose from, and good quality ingredients when compared with other hotels of same price. Some of carpets and furnishings a bit shabby, but some of hotel very modern as well. Bedrooms good size, and nice and clean. Overall extremely impressed with the value for money, and staff were very accommodating. Enjoyed our stay.
Some carpets, seating areas, woodwork a wee bit shabby. But didn't take away from overall stay. Many more positives to compensate. Drinks a bit expensive too.
excellent choice at breakfast time, pretty much everything you could want!
depends what part of the hotel you get - if you're in the old section the rooms are pretty tired but the newer part is lovely
Staff were professional and friendly, food excellent, very clean.
A bit of a rabbit warren inside.
Loved the carvery- great food and staff. All staff very friendly. Executive room excellent.
Check your bill- they were very busy but 2 errors on our Bill when checking out.
It's nice place to stay, I love the swimming pool hot water and friendly staff, service room nice to.
The receptionist very kindly let us check in early
Bit noisy due to a wedding disco and our room seemed to be next to a plant room
Good value for money. Nice spacious room. We booked a family room which had 2 double beds a cot and still had plenty of room. Staff very friendly.
The distance from all the facilities to our room was very far.
Staff friendly and helpful. Pool great for us but missed to play about with kids, understood it was a spa. Breakfast great choice, would be better if food was labelled,so no hunting under big lids to see what's hidden.
Floor in restaurant could have done with more tlc, stayed two nights and on second day there was still same dirt on floor we seen first breakfast.
Buffet very good, and most of the staff friendly and courteous.
Waiting staff in the dining room very inattentive. Had to remove our own dirty plates from table. When waitress set up tables she placed and held all cutlery, knifes forks and spoons by the non handle end. Training required here!!
Staff very friendly and helpful, food and drink excellent. The breakfast was excellent. The staff made weary travellers very relaxed
Useless wifi View of the bins and broken pallets in the messy back yard Surly breakfast waitress
Great breakfast; massive selection available. Pool and sauna were free to use and well maintained. Small amount of renovation work going on but didn't affect our stay.
Have stayed here now three times and have always been well looked after by staff, breakfast selection best I have experienced. Will be back. Alan
Good location, comfy bed, excellent breakfast, wifi. Friendly staff, only 5 minutes from airport.
Woken up both nights at 2am by drunk guests. Christmas parties both nights. We had full refund for second night and assured 24/7 security at hotel and offending guest escorted off the premises. Not nice being woken by a violent, drunk man trying to smash a door in opposite room. We had Club Premier room on 2nd floor. Apparently even more noisy on 1st floor. We got free upgrade for return visits next week and March and assured NO parties on when we return. Room a bit tatty particularly bathroom which needed some attention.
The hotel itself and staff were nice.
Very dirty i thought £85 a night was alot of money an i was expecting alot more luxury. Very run dow needs a face lift. Tiles all broken in the bathroom.
Rachael on reception set the tone with her warm welcome and helpfulness. Nice room with a good strong shower. The full Scottish breakfast is simply outstanding - haggis, black pudding, Lorne sausage, potato scones - the lot.
There were lots of overnight guests after a Christmas function on the Friday night and they were very noisy returning to their rooms up until 3 in the morning.
Ease of access
Smell from Swimming pool
Heating not working in our room and shower holder broken
Nice rooms with fresh en-suite. Great leisure facilities with gym, jacuzzi, sauna, pool and steam room. Easy to find just of m8 motorway.
Slow service for food and drinks
I enjoyed everything about my stay
