Its location was perfect for our stay whilst visiting family in the local area.Bedroom and bathroom were large and spacious.Meals cooked to perfection and a varied menu ,also a good range of drinks and whiskys behind the bar. The requested double bed was infact two singles joined together , this produced a massive wide sleeping area. This was fine only the linen and bed covers provided were designed for single beds these naturally parted during the nights resulting in cold bodies and disturbed sleeping paterns.

The location was excellent for us, as so close to family whom we were spending Xmas with. We stayed in a club room , which was spacious enough and nicely furnished. The breakfast was nicely cooked. The main thing I would comment on which would affect whether we stay again was the friendliness of staff. No one was rude or cheeky, but the staff were really quite indifferent and not friendly. We returned at night after spending Xmas with family and the lady at reception did not even look up to acknowledge us - just to stay hello or did you have a nice evening, etc would make all the difference. Also when we checked out, the girl barely looked at us, did not ask whether we enjoyed our stay or had a good Xmas or anything really. In terms of the hospitality business, these little touches cost nothing, but would make a guest come back.

Stayed as a guest for a party night. Food and staff in the Barony Suite were excellent! All my party commented on that. Had a problem with Tv and it was sorted immediately. Service and food at breakfast was excellent. Toilet bin had not been cleaned.

Good hotel but not restful in any way. We had front bedroom, extremely noisy both from road traffic and hotel function. No air conditioning in bedrooms and very hot and stuffy. Too noisy with open window. As a wheelchair user the hotel disabled facilities were adequate, access to restaurant for breakfast meant going outside.not ideal if cold or wet!

It's relatively near most things in renfrew and paisley. The new rooms were well set out, spacious and had all the facilities you would need. Wifi everywhere .. Our room was a long walk away from everything including the leisure club some did not go there. Breakfast was fantastic, what a choice!!!

Some staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, especially a guy from Ruanda, who went out of his way to take me to the swimming pool when I had been given vague directions by a receptionst. I enjoyed the pool facility and the pleasantly warm water. Some reception staff were not very communicative and gave minimum service. I was told on Friday to book the airport shuttle on Saturday, only to be told then that there would be no service on Sunday because "no-one would be working that day" However, my friend was able to be taken by shuttle to his coach venue on Sunday whilst I was obliged to book a taxi.

Convenient for where we needed to be; travelled to hotel early December and chose location as probably wouldn't be affected if there was snow. Two of us in a double room, stayed for 2 nights and both nights had to ask for another set of towels as only 1 set in the room.

After travelling 6 hours to the Glynhill, we were made most welcome by your staff & refreshments facilities. We were attending Linda Mc.Farlane's funeral Wake on 13/12/11. you gave us a wonderful reception & meal in honor of her. The room / bar services & food were excellent. Will definitely stay again when next in Glasgow. Would Highly recommend the Glynhill. Thanks to all. P.S. the Christmas decorations were fabulous.
