Swimming pool. The double beds were the smallest I have ever seen and were very uncomfortable, my back is still sore! The carpet in our room was filthy, it should be changed! |

Good facilities, room comfortable, decor nice and most importantly the room was clean! Yes i was given the keys to a room that was already occupied and the manner of the recepionist was nether apologetic or professional! |

The Breakfast - excellent Only one suggestion for women - hairdryer in a ridiculous place with no access to a mirror. No mirrors where there was a plug point. Had to use a miniscule mirror I had bought with me. |

We found the rooms very comfortable, the restuarant food was excellent and staff were always very helpful and courteous. The room was a bit warm, and the lighting in the bathroom and by the mirror was poor. It was too low level for applying make up etc. |

The reception staff were very helpful. We did not like Harry's Bar. We felt uncomfortable when we went in and had a drink. Also the room was very warm during the night and it was a bit of a squeeze having the 3 beds in the one room. |

it is very conveniently placed to both the motorway & the Volvo dealer that I visit, and gives good value for money especially on a business basis. I would prefer a greater choice of beers in the hotel bar!! |

The beds were great (at least mine was) and the bathroom was very modern and good looking. Nice to have good TV in the room. My room overlooked other rooms, though I didn't see anyone over there. The windows did not open enough to let in fresh air, and it was quite hot. I don't like duvets. The food needs updating; evening meal was the Carvery, rather limited. Breakfast was the usual Scots fare, but not very well cooked, e.g., rubbery eggs-cereals were OK-didn't see porridge. |

The breakfast which was included was excellent. There are eating places for all tastes and budgets. Access to leisure facilities is included. Good bus service nearby. The information booklet included a brochure for a river site seeing tour. We went to the indicated start point to find that the tour stopped over a year ago. Also, the website led me to believe that there was a shuttle to and from the airport. Found out it was only to the airport. |

Breakfast was very good, cleaning staff friendly and helpful, did not use bar/ restaurant so can't comment. On arrival was directed to uncleaned room( checking in at 3 pm), then another also not cleaned, was told guests had departed late hence delay (not my problem) but room upgraded so thanks for that. Reception area is too quiet, why is that table and chairs on the 1st landing? |

Staff friendly, left some toys in room. Spoke to Yvonne in housekeeping and promptly found them and posted back. Very impressed. My toddler was also extremely happy! Liked the pool for the children. Was not pre warned about the hen party only 3 doors along from us. They kept us and our children (7 and 2) awake until 3.20am. We stayed at this hotel to break up our long journey from Isle of Iona back to Cornwall. Felt we were not rested as planned due to the level of noise from neighbouring rooms. |

You got little things right: a tea pot for the room, enough pillows without having to ask, and soothing simple stylish decor of the room. |

I have stayed repeatedly at teh Glynhill over the last ten years or so and it is a very well run family hotel, with facilities to match larger chainss- but a much higher attention to customer satisfaction. |
