hotel looking a bit tired.room in attic very warm.carverie not value for money.selection poor.
I thought the hotel was lovely and had a really nice swimming pool.
There was not anything that I didn't like.
The food was great, especially the breakfast and the staff at breakfast couldn't do enough for you.
Friendly restaurant staff
Loud music from "tribute night" located close to room went on until after midnight.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent, Would recommend the hotel to friends.
In need of a little refurbishment
It's 10 mins. from Glasgow Airport. The nearby pub is quaint. Breakfast was all right. Decent value for the money.
Rooms are smallish and a bit outdated. Two wedding receptions held there the Saturday night we stayed made it extra busy.
checking in was quick and straight forward, the hotel is near Glasgow airport so important for travellers like us booking an early flight.
the booking included a full english breakfast. because of the time of our flight we were unable to profit from this at the normal breakfast time. Many hotels will provide you with a cold continental breakfast for you to take with you if you want. the hotel wanted to charge us £3. we declined the offer. We went to bed early so that we could get some sleep before needing to go to the airport at 5 am. After an initial period of sleep although it was noisy , the party seemed to move upstairs - indeed to the room next door. there was music playing loudly and a considerable number of people talking in the room and corridor. We are not ones to complain easily, but felt we needed to complain to reception. It was only after some considerable time that the noise abated , certainly after 2.30 am. we received an apology from reception when we went for our taxi at 5 am, which we had booked on checking in. It seemed that this booking had gone missing and reception needed to book another taxi which took a further 15 mins. the kind of stress you don't need when you are about to fly. the only thing that improved it slightly was the hotel putting the taxi fare on their account. Personally, I think a reimbursement of the whole hotel booking is appropriate as I don't think the hotel met its obligations to its customers.
nice & friendly, swimming pool
Complained about room cleaners taking away good whole sandwich, (bought there) got no action, only a sorry from front desk
The hotel was central to what we were doing easy to travel back and forth without going through the city of Glasgow.
Television signal kept cutting out. Staff in restaurant could have been more attentive. Grouting in bathroom floor missing and cracked tiles.
The restaurant was draughty and cold because of the air conditioning and the room looked tired
The breakfast which was advertised as a continental breakfast, was so much more; it was amazing. The best breakfast I have had in hundreds of hotels.
The hotel layout is odd; you have to go through the bar to get to one restaurant and to reach the pool you have to go through another restaurant. It just was an odd floor plan.
facilities were good, food also good
spillage on bedding for which I was charged an additional £80 which I feel is a bit steep
The hotel was close to airport, got a good rate and had a lovely breakfast.
This time we had a room in the older part of the hotel, having had a room in the newer part before, I would have preferred one there.
Breakfast serves even at early hours.
We could book in early Breakfast was superb
We really liked the pool and the spa, lunch was delicious, staff were very friendly.
Our bed was really noisy, the slightest turn and so much noise! We struggled to sleep due to the noise from the function room. The buffet was over priced
Staff were friendly and helpful
Room wasn't the cleanest the tv didn't get any reception The dining table cloth and the walls in the breakfast area were dirty
excessive noise from function centre which continued till early hours of the morning kept everyone awake. décor very dated, would not stay here again
Very cosy place, nice and helpful staff. We had a great stay at this hotel. I would recomend it to a friend for sure:)
the location is perfect for visiting the sites in Glasgow and Edinburgh and the nearby shopping at Braehead and Silverburn
I was happy with everything and have stayed in the hotel lots of times over the last few years
My room was very poor, shower screen leaked, bathroom floor tiles broken, view from room was a generator of some sort which kept me awake all night.
Very friendly staff. Bathroom beautiful and very clean.
Gym very small and too hot. Not much choice for vegetarian meals. Wifi signal not available all over hotel.
Restaurant, Carvery, bar etc all were very good. Nice reception staff who were very friendly and helpfull.
I had a room that was next to the kitchen extractor which was on the go all night and very nosiy
The All you can eat Carvery is a dieters nightmare - so much choice, and incredible quality - especially the desserts! The fine dining a-la-carte restaurant at the other end of the hotel, also offers a brilliant choice of freshly prepared, well priced, tasty treats.
