Lovely couple. Helpful, welcoming. Comfortable room with double and single bed, en-suite. Good choice for breakfast. Very clean.
Nothing to dislike
Excellent location away from Betws-y-Coed village but about a 15 minute leisurely stroll to this delightful village. Guesthouse high above the main road with a slight uphill walk to the front door if you park in the lower area for parking. Very friendly hosts. Room 1 v spacious to be used as a family room, or a twin/double. Good communication with Janet by email prior to arrival. Can't fault this for a place to stay!
Would have liked a bath but Victorian houses rarely have this! Shower good and spacious. Hate the bathrooms without windows and with fan that comes on when you use the toilet. That's just my gripe!
Great welcome and a superb place to stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable but more than that it was our welcome we all remember. Would totally recommend a stay here
What a great hotel, very clean, the owners were lovely so friendly. Would return
Nothing worth watching on the telly,wi-fi reception good but not able to get catchup tv/films on the laptop Just a minor thing didn't spoil our stay
Lovely friendly couple , spotless rooms and stunning views.
We thoroughly enjoyed the view from our bedroom window, the clean and well maintained room, the ease of walking into the town, and the scrummy cooked breakfast.
The location is easy to find, I requested secure parking for my bike and was offered a room with the bike parked outside the window. Breakfast was particularly good. I will definitely stay again when in the area.
Hosts welcoming ,approachable and informative. Room comfortable.
Really spotlessly clean and tidy. Great hosts, very friendly and catered well for individual requirements, Smashing breakfast and catered for my dietary requitrements (Gluten free) and enjoyed the gluten free toast. Lovely to sit out in the sun on the armchairs at the end of the day.
I liked it all. Including the 15min walk into the village.
The accommodation was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.
The room had a shower, but no bath. This wasn't brought to my attention until we arrived.
Friendliness of the staff
Accommodation was very good and Janet and Ian were very welcoming. Excellent breakfast was served each morning and certainly set us up for the day. Location also suited us with an easy walk into the village.
Beautiful, peaceful setting only a gentle walk from Betws y coed. Lovely room, super facilities, welcoming hosts and fantastic breakfast! Would definitely recommend!
Room was excellent, breakfast lovely, owners friendly.would highly recommend this and will certainly book again
Everything, room very spacious and fab location
More an observation really but most restaurants in the area were fully booked so would have been useful to know that well in advance of trip
A brilliantly positioned B & B - a base to reach both North and Mid-Wales. A very friendly and helpful host and hostess - even offering to help with carrying luggage to our room. Everywhere was clean, tidy and spotless and the comfort of our room and its facilities were excellent. Finally the breakfast offerings and choices were great and set us up for the day ahead. Certainly one the best ever B & B's that we have stayed at.,
There was absolutely nothing that caused any concern, criticsm or reason to complain.
Ian and Janet, the owners, are very experience travellers and this shows in the service and friendliness they provide to every visitor.
The electric toilet made flushing a chore.
i liked the detailed touches such as filtered water in the room, an optional sheet to go under the duvet and the bowl of sweets in the hallway! The location is superb and the breakfast magnificent. This is one of the best b & Bs I have ever stayed in. The owners are very friendly and helpful with local advice.
Having to leave!
Traffic noise sometimes
Lovely quiet retreat, nice comfortable room and a good hearty cooked breakfast. All you could wish for right in the heart of Snowdonia.....Lovely hosts.
Very comfortable home from home with excellent hosts.
Beautifull location and very comfortable and clean. Excellent cooked breakfast too. Will definately stay there again. Thank you
very clean accomodation and very nice hosts
I stayed at Glyntwrog House for a mountain bike trip and it was just a perfect experience. The owners, Janest and Ian, are lovely and very helpful. The place is very quiet and confortable. I will definitely return for my next trip.
The Owners were very friendly with lots of ideas on what to do. The location was prefect for a day tour to Bodnant, Gardens, Conwy and Snowdonia. Thank you
