Location is good. Breakfast was prompt and tasted good, but would have liked toast with my cooked breakfast rather than after. Hospitality Having invited us back to the b&b bar after our dinner, we joined hosts Norman and Sue around 11pm, there was no one else in the bar. Norman offered a 'bunch of fives' to our two 3 year olds and made various other comments about parenting skills etc. because basically the children were not sitting perfectly still in silence, which as we all know is impossible for 3 year olds. We found his attitude very offensive and old fashioned so went to bed. CLEANLINESS The were hairs on the bathroom floor and in a drawer and dust in the room, we can forgive dust but not hairs in the bathroom, this level of cleanliness makes you wonder what else they don't do. SAFETY The small wardrobe in the family room is unsafe, it nearly fell on the two children when they opened the doors and it came forward. We asked for a key to lock the window as the children may climb up and out of it, but we never got one. There was also a chemical product in the shower which could have been harmful to the children. OTHER Upon arrival we were told to park our car behind someone elses because that guest wasn't leaving until the following day. The following day that guest knocked on our door to ask if we could move our car because we had blocked him in. He went on to say that he'd been blocked in all day the previous day and had to spend £10 in bus fares to Ingoldmells. We explained that the landlady said it was ok to park there and we apologised. We are not sure why another guest had to knock on our door, that should have been the landlady's job.

Great location, cheap and cheerful! Hair in the bathroom everywhere, quite a small room to manoeuvre around and poo stains on the bed sheets! Wasn't impressed with the cleanliness

Friendly, welcoming Owners. The rooms were on-suite,clean and nicely decorated. The full English breakfast was more than enough to set you up for the day. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The owners were very friendly, welcoming, and polite. The room was a family room with double bed and a single and ensuite bathroom. Enough room to spread out. Very clean and tidy. Breakfast was good. We only stayed one night and this was one of few B&Bs that didn't insist on a two night minimum stay. I can understand that the other B&Bs don't want to lose money during the busy season but we would have booked one we'd used before if they had not insisted on that. This B&B was a good value traditional British Seaside B&B.

The owners Sue and Norman were pleasant and helpful, they met us with a welcoming smile. We were given a ground floor room when told that one of us had a bad back, and had difficulty climbing stairs. They pointed out the best ways of getting to where we wanted to go. The tea and coffee in our room was replenished, and was asked about our preferences for breakfast. The breakfast was announced by some good raps on the gong, (not had that done years) great. The bed was comfortable, the en suite was a little small, but the shower was good with a good hot flow of water.
