Good accommadation, clean and kitchen and comfy bed.
Loud noises every morning before 7am in street outside, no shared large kitchen as previous stay and no view at all.
Location, close to tube, supermarket
Ground floor is a little noisy while people going pass outside the window
Clean. Nice staff.
The pictures of the hotel didn't actually represent what was provided. Small room, we didn't have any kitchenette which the picture of our room showed we would have. Also we first got a double bed but we had chosen a twin. Disappointed but still clean and nice.
Size of apartment and having two bedrooms
Everything was perfect, the VIEW is amazing, the place is spacious.
The fluffy grey blanket that stuck to my Black dress.
The kitchen facilities.
We stayed for 4 days and we didnt like our stay at all.The hotel was different than it looked at the picture. The persian blinds in our room was broken so we were awakened early by the sun's light slipping through the big window facing directly our bed. The hotel receptionist told us that they only accept payment by card so we were charged more because we had a euro account which was very frustrating when we had cash in pounds to pay them. All in all we say that the quality of the hotel in relation to price is very poor.
Privacy and freedom like going back to my own flat. I dislike hotels and like to cook for myself. These rooms are great even though the kitchen is separate and shared.
Pricey for one person, but I had a twin room to myself, so if I had been with my husband this would have worked out a bargain.
I was pleasantly surprised by just how many facilities there were in the room. I was cooking dinner for my boyfriend and was happy that all pots, pans and everything necessary was to hand
Had trouble understanding how to use the microwave oven. Wasn't a manual or anything to help me use that nor the stove.
Bed was too small and spring was terrible!
Close to two Tube stations, 24-hour front desk, prompt response to guest requests (more towels, pillows, etc.)
Wi-Fi was complicated to set up, extractor fan in bathroom didn't seem to work
Room was on the small side
When I first got there the Manager was extremely helpful in getting me a room right away. I had had a long flight and wanted a shower. Her help made me overlook quite a lot. Rooms are nice and clean and having a Kitchen and rest area would be ideal if you were with a group of people.
There were quite a few problems with the housekeeping Dept. I suspect it was a lack of communication with the reservation department. I got sink on my way in to London and had to take a low key day in to sleep though the cold and drink a ton of water. Unfortunately Housekeeping kept knocking on my door as they had been under the impression that I was checking out. Saying I didn't want my room cleaned was not enough and as the morning went on I got more insistent knocks. I finally had to go down to the front desk to a frankly uninspired attendant who was barely able to solve it for me. The next day I had the same problem but this time a housekeeper that was extremely intent on cleaning my room. Having a cold on your vacation is bad enough, but being woken up constantly and then having to march down to the front desk filled to the gills with cold medicine is less than ideal. I think a simple card on the door instructing the housekeeper they want to be left alone would be ideal. As it might be an idea to have the housekeeper check with the front desk if a guest is not out of the room by 11am when they think there is a check out. If the guest says they are not leaving then maybe a little investigation by the housekeeping manager is in order instead of 3 more visits which wake the occupant up. Also I marked the sleep quality low not because the bed was uncomfortable but because at night a group of men would constatnly get together outside of the building in the alleyway to talk and shout quite loudly into the wee hours of the morning. If it was winter it wouldn;t have mattered but it was a fairly hot week and I had to make the decision to be super hot with the windows closed or cool and super annoyed with the windows open. I live in a city and get that there will always be noise but 2am on a Tuesday is a bit late to have people screaming, watching TV in the alleyway and laughing loudly.
Stay here only if you get a higher floor. Lower floors face a lot of noise issue
Requested many times to the staff to move me to a higher floor but i was given a 5th floor for whole two weeks.
Wifi was so difficult to connect.too complex to do so.I was in Britain about 23days,this was the first hotel where I couldn't get on wifi for 2 days.really upset! The hotel should give clients the simple way to get on wifi, but not so complex and difficult as a student have an exames.hope to see something different when we come back next month.
Location very near to tube station but far enough from the heavy traffic. Nice helpful staff, 24 hrs Reception, possible to leave luggage there before check in and after checking out. Wifi speed amazing.
Classic Studio: large window on 1st floor with limited possibility to hide, feeling like on a display. Windows let noise through like they were open. Beds very soft but you can feel each spring under you.
nice clean new and comfortable
Better than expected. Studio is a decent size for a weekend away. Really clean room. U need a room high up for a decent view.
Shared facilities a bit of a mess
room was very clean staff were frendly
room was very hot and had no air conditioning couldnt leave the window open and some really loud works are going on over the road. room felt quite small especially the bathroom
good loaction, kind staff
no family room
The beds are too small and have only two pillow when I asked for one more they said no also I have a 2 years old baby with me and they give us only a crib with out any blank or bellow so my daughter ended up sleeping with us in the small bed it was two trouble nights that we had the stuff where soo unhelpful would not stay there again
Rooms is very small, they don't clean the room daily, only once in a week, they don't provide fresh towel daily it's really disgusting. Staff is good but they can't help as it's company's rool.
Location and kitchenette facilities. Clean and comfortable.
No maid service for duration of stay, dodgy non-flushing toilet (fixed but then the cistern ran forever).
So, as we arrived we had to wait 40 minutes to check in, because there was just one person at the desk. Then the room, the bed is 1m40 wide. So, for two persons, even for a couple, that's really really small... And th bed wasn't CLEAN AT ALL. hairs everywhere. Everywhere. I asked to change rooms, for a bigger bed, waited 50 minutes again to get an answer at the reception desk and I got disrespected. 3 different persons at the desk told me 3 different things. So the management is clearly not ok there. After fighting for a bigger bed two days in a row, I figured, I might as well just go with it and let it go. We didn't sleep well at all. And had to clean the room ourselves. (Including the bathroom). So, the location is good, and for one person might be ok... If it was clean.
Many many things...
Good location close to Spitalfields market, Brick Lane and transport links. Nice views from the tower.
The room was quite small for a studio. There were long dark hairs on the pillows and bed when we arrived, but we presumed they came from the person who cleaned the room.
