location is nice
put me in the basement…
The one bedroom apartment is spacious enough for a family of 4-5. The room is well decorated and fit for purpose. Location wise is second to none. Quite west end street with only 1-2 stops away from marble arch and oxford st.
The room service is only once a week. Should be at least once every 2-3 day
Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from Paddington station. Great if you want to use the Heathrow Express. Helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. Very close to Marble Arch, Oxford St, Lancaster Gate tube. Highly recommended.
The first ground floor family room we stayed in was close to an external vent, and noisy, but the staff shifted us into another room without any fuss. We turned all the heating off, as it was very warm.
Surprising planned my vacation 6 months ago n booked room 5 month ago but really bad on hotel parth to give us poorest with out windows room as if we have booked at last moment when booked premium apartment we expect window in room Very hard to believe staff at reception not ready to accept cash need only card for payment which I found first such hotel ie apartment where cash not accepted only credit card Staff should learnt more on courtesy whether Asian or black courtesy should not be limited to white which I found
No coffee machine.
The morning receptionists are very kind, help you a lot with lovely atitude. However, the night one is a man who just wanna do nothing, trying to say lots of excuses to explain his bad, what's more, fake attidute only when there's a elder person shows up. Never consider this apartment anymore. It's so difficult to find such a bad receptionist for this hight price rent apartment or hotel. The hotel should seriously think if this person is not suite his positon.
Proximity to Lancaster Gate Tube. Spacious and comfortable apartment for 2.We managed to share our meal with 4 friends in comfort. Very good kitchenette equipment including oven and double ring electric hob.Apartment 302 was quiet at night.
Better description of kitchen equipment would have been useful before booking as we assumed microwaveable meals were only option.
Facility, location acess to subway, park, center excellent. Kind staffs thanks
Rooms comfortable and spacious for the price by London standards. Very easy walking distance of Paddington station and Hyde Park.
Parking not readily available: I ended up in an NCP off Edgware Road at £30 for 24 hours, other end of Sussex Gardens, around 10 minutes walk away. Nice stroll on a bright day, not so good if it had been tipping it down. As apartments rather than hotel, breakfast not on offer. However, a full breakfast menu is served at the Pride of Paddington pub (first left as you head back up Sussex Gardens and is on the corner of the next junction), and was very good value.
Location close to metro and buses
No facilities inside or nearby outside where you can buy groceries or pharmacy which is important if you have a family. Second sofa bed is really poor. No house keeping except after 7 days
location Access to tube, trains and other public transports Nice choice of restaurants within walking distance Fully equipped kitchen Helpful staff and great welcome
unsafe bathroom for young kids- suggestion to include handle bars Heating misfunction but electric heaters provided which did the trick
We booked a premium one bed, arrived and were put in a basement room, it was very dark and dingy with stains on the carpets and walls. Complained and staff showed us to a fabulous room, which was much more what we were expecting, with garden views, balcony and more space. The location was fantastic and the staff were very attentive and quick to sort any problems.
Windows were drafty so room a little cold, although the rest of the building I.e. Hallways and reception were like a sauna!
The location was good.
The room we had was facing a busy and noisy road. Did not get the room om two floors which we booked.
The apartment was lovely, really clean especially the bathroom and the kitchen. Good facilities, exceeded expectations.
Apartment with 2 bedrooms was really space and we had our privacy. Staff was really supportive and helpful. Great location close to Hyde park and metro.
We lived in basement :( on the picture apartment with 2 bedrooms look it has great windows but we were below the street level!! Not good feeling ;(
Excellent location very close to 2 different tube stations and Paddington railway station. Kitchen well equipped and stylish. Staff helpful. Comfortable. Wifi excellent. Washer/drier very good.
When room serviced after 7 days no new soap, shampoo, conditioner etc provided. Bed Ok -but not super comfortable. Lighting poor -difficult cooking at night.
Furnishings Location People
Ground floor is noisy 1 bedroom apartment very small Very low speed internet (almost no internet)
THE NEW MANAGER DANIELA IS A NICE PERSON THAT IS WISHING TO ASSIST AND TO SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM
WE HAD BEEN STACKED IN THE VERY SMALL LIFT AND NOBODY CAME TO RESECUE US FOR 40 MINITUES . THE W.C HAS BLACK BACTERIA ON THE FLOOR.
Too expensive. Last year stayed here in a larger apartment at a lower price.
One staff member was very effective others were unable to do anything to help but were polite. Great location near Paddington and Hyde Park.
Too many things were broken and did not get fixed. Took days to get working keys. The building was surprisingly hot.
Size of the apartment. Well equipped. Bottle of milk in the fridge.
No significant faults.
Location. Facilities. Layout of studio apartment was very good and exactly what I needed. Defintiely a place to stay!! 2nd stay in 12 months. I will stay again thanks
The location was fantastic
The lighting was appealing especially in the kitchen and bathroom. At one stage we had to get a torch to read the dials on the toaster. There also was no manuals for the white goods especially the washer. The fire alarms also went off at approx 3am as a result of a staff member burning toast. No explanations was provided to us and subsequently we did not know whether we were to be evacuated. Another resident informed us what had occurred. As we were on the ground floor we could see the smoke coming from the office
The staff at Sussex Gardens were awesome; very accommodating and ensuring the transfers were done smoothly. The Place at Mayfair was excellent, clean and good quiet location.
Mattress was uncomfortable.
Less window no air-con in some room.Under renovation condition
